Positioned as a flagship scenic culture-and-tourism mini series, Fang Yang Ba Lao Ban integrates elements of Mongolian traditional culture—including traditional attire, cuisine, horseback riding, archery, and song and dance—into its narrative through the format of “mini series + cultural tourism.” The production keenly captures young people’s growing fatigue with urban pressure and their collective longing for the sense of ease and freedom symbolized by the grasslands. On December 27, the High-Quality Mini Series Creation Sharing Forum and the launch ceremony of the mini series “Fa” Jia Zhi Fu were held in Beijing. The event was jointly organized by China Radio, Film & Television Press, Beijing Film Academy, and China Search, aiming to bring together industry expertise to explore pathways for mini series to evolve from “traffic-driven hits” to works that reflect the spirit of the times, and to promote the healthy and high-quality development of the online audiovisual content ecosystem.
As a key outcome of the event, the realistic-themed mini series “Fa” Jia Zhi Fu was officially announced for production. Adapted from the original stage play Xiang Yang Li Fa Guan by the Beijing Film Academy, the series is set in Beijing’s traditional Hutong neighborhoods. It tells the story of the ideological conflicts and emotional reconciliation between an elderly barber and his young son amid social transformation.
Focusing on the central theme of “craft inheritance,” the series explores essential questions such as “who should inherit cultural traditions” and “how such inheritance should take place.” Through vivid storytelling, it portrays ordinary people’s steadfast commitment to traditional skills, moral integrity, and personal dignity, illustrating how socialist core values take root and find expression in everyday life.
人艺影视辽宁微短剧产业联盟在沈阳成立
近日，“短剧星火·山海‘辽’亮——人艺影视辽宁微短剧产业联盟成立大会”在辽宁人民艺术剧院举行。大会以AI概念短片《聚合之力》开篇，由辽宁人民艺术剧院负责人主持，介绍了联盟组织架构与成员名单，明确联盟将破解省内微短剧创作分散、产业链衔接不畅等痛点，通过聚合政策、市场、人才等资源，让辽宁好故事走向全国。现场，联盟正式启动并公布“平台化+生态化”发展路径，以“聚合资源、培育内容、打造品牌、服务产业”为宗旨，设立三级组织架构保障运营决策。近期将推进剧本孵化、人才培训、资源对接及“微短剧+”融合创新等工作。

Recently, the “Short Drama Spark · Mountains and Seas Shine in Liaoning” — the inauguration ceremony of the Renyi Film & Television Liaoning Mini Series Industry Alliance was held at the Liaoning People’s Art Theatre in Shenyang. The event opened with an AI-concept short film titled Ju He Zhi Li, followed by an introduction to the alliance’s organizational structure and member institutions by representatives of the Liaoning People’s Art Theatre.
The alliance aims to address key challenges facing the province’s mini series sector, including fragmented creation and weak industrial linkages. By integrating policy support, market resources, and talent, it seeks to enable high-quality Liaoning stories to reach a national audience. During the event, the alliance officially announced its launch and unveiled a “platform-based and ecosystem-oriented” development model, guided by the principles of resource integration, content cultivation, brand building, and industry services. A three-tier organizational structure has been established to support governance and decision-making. In the near future, the alliance will advance initiatives such as script incubation, talent training, resource matchmaking, and innovative “mini series+” cross-sector integration.
At the ceremony, the alliance also signed strategic cooperation agreements with several enterprises, covering areas such as the development of “mini series + regional branding,” the joint construction of incubation bases, and the establishment of standardized filming location libraries—further strengthening the foundations of the local industry ecosystem. Highlights from mini series including Da Yuan Yan Huo and Lao Tie Zai Ta Cheng were screened on site, and the new project Ci Xin An Chu was officially unveiled. Representatives of the alliance’s expert committee called on creators to stay rooted in real life, cultivate distinctive, high-quality works, and avoid homogenized competition.

On December 27, 2025, the inaugural Cultural Tourism Short Drama Summit opened in Taizhou. The event, themed “Cultural Tourism Power: Spotlight on Taizhou,” was guided by the China Film Association and jointly organized by the Art Development Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Popular Movies magazine, and the Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports of Taizhou Municipality. It aims to create an ecosystem platform for the “Cultural Tourism + Short Drama” industry and promote the deep integration of short drama creation with urban cultural tourism. The event gathered industry experts, creative talents, and city representatives, who engaged in forum discussions, project signings, and film screenings to explore new mechanisms for using short dramas to tell urban stories and activate cultural tourism resources.
During the event, the “City Index of Cultural Tourism Short Drama Vibrancy” was released, with Taizhou included in the overall list, showcasing its vitality and potential in empowering urban development through short dramas. Additionally, the “Follow the Short Dramas to Explore Taizhou” tour promotion event highlighted how short drama content is closely tied to local tourism resources, further driving new cultural tourism consumption scenes. 近日，内蒙古自治区体育局启动“跟着微短剧去运动”创作计划。旨在进一步激发全社会参与内蒙古体育主题微短剧创作的活力，推动微短剧与体育领域深入结合，促进全民健身与全民健康深度融合。此次活动将充分发挥微短剧贴近生活、生动直观、易于传播的优势，推出一批以内蒙古体育为主题的微短剧作品，助力健康内蒙古建设。此次“跟着微短剧去运动”创作计划设置“跟着微短剧享户外”“跟着微短剧看赛事”“跟着微短剧玩冰雪”“跟着微短剧品文化”“跟着微短剧学健身”“跟着微短剧逛场馆”“跟着微短剧深耕‘体育+’”等系列主题，鼓励把具有内蒙古特色的户外运动、赛事活动、冰雪运动、体育文化、科学健身等与微短剧相结合，推出选取特定主题开展系列剧集创作，推动内蒙古体育以更亲民、更生动的方式走进大众生活。
据了解，各盟市体育行政管理部门、广电行政管理部门将加强统筹协调，充分调动各方积极性，确保各项任务有效落实。积极组织动员，为创作团队深入训练基地、运动场馆、赛事现场等开展采风调研提供便利，共同挖掘运动员拼搏故事、民族体育文化和全民健身典型案例，并在体育专业指导、赛事资源对接、内容真实性审核等方面提供专家支持和资源保障。

Inner Mongolia Launches Sports-Themed Mini Series Creation Initiative
Recently, the Bureau of Sports of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region launched the “Follow the Mini Series to Exercise” creation initiative. The goal is to further stimulate societal engagement in the creation of mini series themed around Inner Mongolia’s sports, deepen the integration of mini series with the sports field, and promote the fusion of national fitness and public health. This initiative will leverage the advantages of mini series—being close to everyday life, vivid, intuitive, and easily shareable—to release a series of mini series focused on Inner Mongolia’s sports, contributing to the construction of a healthy Inner Mongolia.
The “Follow the Mini Series to Exercise” creation initiative includes themes such as “Follow the Mini Series for Outdoor Activities,” “Follow the Mini Series for Sports Events,” “Follow the Mini Series for Ice and Snow Sports,” “Follow the Mini Series for Cultural Exploration,” “Follow the Mini Series to Learn Fitness,” “Follow the Mini Series for Venue Tours,” and “Follow the Mini Series for ‘Sports+’.” It encourages combining outdoor sports, sporting events, ice and snow sports, sports culture, and scientific fitness with mini series. This will involve creating series around specific themes, helping to bring Inner Mongolia’s sports to the public in a more relatable and engaging way.
It is reported that sports and broadcasting administrative departments in various leagues and cities will strengthen coordination, mobilize all parties involved, and ensure the effective implementation of all tasks. Efforts will include organizing and motivating creative teams to visit training bases, sports venues, and event sites for research, uncovering athletes’ perseverance stories, ethnic sports culture, and typical cases of national fitness.
