I have a workshop full of old machines.

I want to buy a phonograph and a vinyl record.

I record nice songs on my recorder.

When I listen to the radio, I may fall asleep in my quiet workshop, even if there is a crowd outside. I can turn the crank to play soft music.

When I was little, I liked nursery rhymes.

I use tape and compact disc to hear music.

Tom claimed he can recite lots of rhymes.

I was surprised to know it, it’s unbelievable.

I feel speechless and stunned. People will be shocked too.

-He was a hard-working person,because he often ate while he worked and sometimes he fell asleep at his desk.

-They thought Thomas was playing trick with their voice to create the sound.(It was hard to believe that a machine could talk at that time.)

in 1878: it was big and heavy;

in 1992 :it was small and easy to carry from room to room

by the 1940s: music was recorded on black plastic discs( It is the size of 12-inch pizza).

by the 1950s:the sound on a phonograph sounded closer than ever to the sound of live music or speech.

Hello everyone ！I’m going to talk about Thomas Edison. This is one biography. There are four parts.Part  one, introduce Thomas. .in 1877 Thomas invented phonograph. He recited words on machine—-phonograph. Thomas liked to invent things；His best known invention is light bulb,he was one hard -working person.

Part2:all about phonograph,it is one machine, it can record human voice .we can play it back . Then the famous people recorded voice ; they were  England queen Victoria poet Robert but poet Robert was so excited that forgot the words.

Part three is about uses and people’s idea :

Uses of phonogaph first one, blind people used it to listen to the book, second one, the talking clock can tell the time, making talking dolls and talking toys with sound. number three is helping people to learn. And number four is using it to listen to music and sound.
