Collecting Postcards 收集明信片
I have a lovely hobby of collecting postcards from different places. My relatives and friends send me postcards when they travel to new cities. Each card shows beautiful scenery, special buildings or local animals. On the back, there are short warm messages for me. I keep all my postcards in a thick album and write down where each one comes from. When I look at the collection, I can learn about different places without travelling there. Collecting postcards helps me know more about the world around us.

I learn to play the recorder in my music class at school. At first, it was hard to control my breath and make clear sounds. My music teacher taught me simple skills and encouraged me to practise for a short time every day. I enjoy playing soft and gentle songs after finishing homework. On quiet sunny afternoons, I love sitting on the lawn and watching clouds move slowly in the sky. Clouds change their shapes all the time. Sometimes they look like fluffy sheep, tall mountains or big ships. The wind pushes them across the blue sky. I like to imagine stories from these different cloud shapes. It does not need any toys or tools. Watching clouds is a simple way to relax and use my imagination freely.

My grandma knows many tasty old family recipes. Together, we make a simple family recipe book. We write down the ingredients and simple steps for her favourite dishes. This little book keeps our family food stories for years to come.

Our school has a monthly newspaper made by students. Different groups take different jobs. Some classmates interview teachers and students for news stories. A Trip to the Seaside 海边之旅
Last summer, my family and I took a trip to the seaside. The sea water was blue and the beach was covered with soft golden sand. I walked along the shore and collected smooth seashells. I watched the waves come and go and listened to the sound of the sea. We ate fresh seafood for lunch. I built a small sandcastle with buckets and spades. I keep a simple journal every evening before bedtime. I write about interesting things that happen during the day. Sometimes I write about my feelings, happy moments or small troubles.
