潍坊市2026 届高考第三次模拟考试英语学科听力录音稿(挖空学生版)
Text 1
W:It's my birthday on Saturday.I'm having a small party, and I thought maybe you'd like to come.
M:Saturday?
W:Yeah.Around 7:30 p.m.
M:Oh,I'd love to,but my dad told me to pick him up at the airport at 8:30 p.m.
Text 2
M:Don't tell me you take this class. You must not have heard of it.
W:What?
M:Professor Wang is the most demanding teacher in the world.
W:I don't believe it.I took his class last year. He's kind and funny.
Text 3
M:Here you go.
W:Potatoes?I didn't order any potato.
M:May I have your address and telephone number,Mrs. Pomper?
W:I'm not Mrs. Pomper.I'm Mrs.Ruth.You made a mistake.
Text 4
W:What do we do if the power goes out while we're in here?I hate being stuck in such a small space.
M:Just push the red button. That will send an alarm to the fire department telling them what building we're trapped
in and what floor we're on.
Text 5
W:Tom,your part of the group project is due tomorrow.Have you finished collecting the data?
M:Almost.I still need to write the summary.I'll email it to you by tonight.
Text 6
W:Would you like to take the bus or the train to the city hall?
M:How often do they run?I'd like to get there as soon as possible.
W:Well, the bus runs every half an hour, and there's only one train per hour.
M:Then we should catch the bus.Why don't we go and get the tickets?
W:But according to the schedule, the train is arriving in just five minutes. And we'll get to the city hall 15 minutes
quicker.Let's take that.
Text 7
M:Thank you for looking over my report,Jennifer. As I'm new here,I wasn't sure who to ask for help.I'm now
struggling to improve my slides,though.
W:Let me see.The data looks good. It's easy to understand.But...it lacks some visual appeal.
M:Oh,I think I could add some images.
W:That would really attract the audience's attention.
M:I'll go back and add some in there. If you have time later today, can I send it to you for a quick review?
W:Sure, just email it to me when you've finished.
Text 8
W:Hello, this is the International Arts Festival information line. How can I help you?
M:Hi.My name's Alexi Solokov.I'd like to apply for a permit to take pictures at this year's festival for my
magazine.
W:Thanks for your interest. There's a link on our website where you can apply for a permit.
M:OK.What information will I need to provide?
W:We just ask that you upload a letter from your current boss.
M:Sure.I can do that.
W:Great.Once you're approved for a permit, call the Help Desk. They'll make sure you get free tickets to the
performances you want to attend.

M:Welcome to this week's podcast.I'm very pleased to have with me in the studio today, teen blogger Emma
Jackson.Emma,tell us a bit about zero-waste blogging.
W:Well,it's really catching on!Some people who do it have become really famous. The zero-waste movement is all
about cutting the amount of waste you produce to an absolute minimum.
M:Sounds interesting.I've heard about a neighborhood survey you did.Tell me about that.
W:It was something we did for our geography class. We had to write a survey on our neighbors' recycling habits
and how they felt about waste. It really opened my eyes to just how much stuff we throw away unnecessarily.
M:So,what would you say to someone who's just starting a zero-waste life?
W:Well,it's funny. When people start this lifestyle, they look around their home, and all they can see is plastic stuff.A
lot of people just want to immediately throw out all this perfectly good stuff and go out to get eco-friendly ones
made of wood or metal. That's not a good idea,though--make sure you use whatever you have until it comes to the
end of its life.

M:Good afternoon, everyone.Today,I'd like to share with you a heartwarming project at a primary school in
Wales.Students are writing letters to residents of a local care home.Young children and their elderly"pen
friends"can exchange updates about their lives, helping to build relationships between generations while also giving
the children an understanding of the value of writing letters by hand.Teacher Lisa Johnston says she's seen her
students develop a real sense of understanding of elderly people. The children love sharing their news.A handwritten
letter brings a positive feeling, knowing that someone has written it just for you.She adds that writing for a real
reader gives the children a sense of pride. To further encourage good handwriting skills, the school has created
something called the pen license. It allows younger children to move from using a pencil to a pen once they've
reached a certain standard.Head teacher Warren Handy says that developing students' writing in this way matters
for their life after school.
