通过本课学习，学生能够:

1.在看、听、说、读活动中，呈现跳远（long jump）、跑步（running）、跳高（high jump）等运动项目，包含 “ first， second， cheer” 等描述比赛排名、进程的语句，为讲述运动会场景提供语言素材; （学习理解）

2.在教师、图片、视频以及板书引导下,让学生感受运动会的活力与乐趣，激发对体育赛事、运动项目的兴趣，提升用英语描述体育场景细节的能力; （应用实践）

3.在教师帮助下，能运用现在进行时句型，询问并描述他人正在进行的运动动作。（迁移创新）

教学重点：

1.掌握 long jump、high jump、running 等运动项目词汇的发音、意义，能准确运用词汇描述运动会场景。

2.理解并熟练运用 “What are they doing? ”“Who is first/second? ” 等句型进行交流。

教学难点：

1.正确运用运动项目词汇和句型，自然、流畅地描述运动会场景，如灵活回应不同项目问答。

2.准确理解比赛排名、进程描述，并用英语清晰表达，提升语言运用的准确性和逻辑性。

Step 1  Warm-up

1.Greetings.

2.Chant: I say, you say.

【设计意图】chant具有节奏感和韵律感，能够吸引学生的注意力，激发学生的学习兴趣。通过跟唱，帮助学生复习运动会项目相关词汇，自然引出本节课的主题，同时活跃课堂气氛，让学生快速进入学习状态。

Step 2  Presentation

1.Show the pictures of the sports meet to present the title of this class----“The sports meet is fun”.

2.Show a video of a girl and introduce: “Look! She is doing the long jump.”

3.Show a video of another girl and introduce: “What is she doing ? She is doing the high jump.It’s not easy.She is trying hard.”

4.Show a vieo of a race and ask: “What are they doing ?” Students try to answer: “They are running.”

5.Pause the video when the runners across the finish line. Point to the champion and introduce: “He is first.He is very fast.Point to the runner-up and introduce: “ He is second.”  Point to the cheerleaders and introduce: “What are they doing? They are cheering for the boys.”

【设计意图】模拟学校运动会场景，呈现跳远（long jump）、跑步（running）、跳高（high jump）等运动项目，包含 “first, second, cheer” 等描述比赛排名、进程的语句，为讲述运动会场景提供语言素材。

6.Watch the video and circle the right answer for each question.

7.Watch the video again and imitate.

【设计意图】通过第一次听录音回答问题，培养学生的听力理解能力，通过第二次听音模仿朗读，让学生对课文内容有一个初步的整体把握，同时引导学生养成认真倾听的学习习惯。

Step 3 Grammar Focus

1.Enjoy the song.(P28)

2.Look and say: What are they doing? 

They are playing basketball.

They are swimming.

3.Find the rules. 仔细观察句子并找出规律。

现在进行时用来询问或描述正在发生的事情。

4.Chant : How do we add ‘ing’?

Do, doing

Play,playing

Keep the same

Add ‘ing’

Have, having

Dance,dancing

Drop silent ‘e’

Add‘ing’

Run, running

Swim,swimming

Double the last letter

Add ‘ing’

And  this is the way we add ‘ing’

【设计意图】歌曲具有节奏感和韵律感，能够吸引学生的注意力，激发学生的学习兴趣，自然引出现在进行时的语法学习，让学生在真实情境中理解现在进行时的意义和基本构成。同时引导学生通过自己找规律之后在chant 的练习中自然习得语法规则。

Step 4 Consolidation and extension 

1.Look,read and match.

2.Show a picture of “A school spors meet”, then talk about it.

3.Show the pictures of Su Bingtian , then talk about it.

4.Watch a video of Su Bingtian , then cheer for him together in class.

【设计意图】让学生感受运动的活力与乐趣，激发对体育赛事、运动项目的兴趣，提升用英语交流体育活动的能力，通过介绍苏炳添，引导学生学会坚持不懈、突破极限和为国争光的品质，同时培学生观察、描述体育场景细节的意识。

Step 5 Homework

1.基础性作业：Lisen, read and repeat the story.

2.实践性作业：Share the story with your family or friends.

3.拓展性作业：Talk about the sports you do in your PE class.Write it down with ‘-ing’verbs, and draw pictures for it.

【设计意图】学生选择性完成作业，及时巩固当天所学。

在本节课的教学过程中，通过多模态教学场景设置，学生积极参与课堂，大部分学生能够掌握与运动会项目相关的词汇和句型，并能运用现在进行时句型，询问并描述他人正在进行的运动动作。但在教学过程中，仍存在一些不足之处。例如，课后关注学生在运动项目词汇运用、句型问答及赛事描述中的表现，针对难点可增加专项情景练习。同时，在文化意识培养上，可引导学生分享运动精神对自己的启发，让语言学习与体育文化、运动精神理解更深度融合，提升教学效果。
