21|Passage 21: The Rescue Mission
Rachel served as a rescue pilot in the coast guard. Her job involved flying helicopters to save people in dangerous situations. One stormy night, she received an urgent signal from a fishing boat trapped in rough seas. The waves were tremendous, and the wind blew with terrible force. Rachel prepared her helicopter rapidly and flew into the darkness.
She located the vessel using radar and descended carefully toward the deck. The crew hooked a rescue basket to a cable, and Rachel lifted the sailors one by one. The operation demanded extreme skill and concentration. After three hours, all twelve crew members were safely delivered to the hospital.
Rachel was exhausted but satisfied. She believed that saving lives was the greatest privilege and responsibility. Her bravery earned her a medal and the gratitude of the nation.

22|Passage 22: The Space Station
The international space station orbited Earth at an altitude of four hundred kilometers. Astronaut Sam had lived there for six months, conducting scientific experiments. The station contained advanced laboratories where researchers studied gravity, radiation, and human biology in space. Sam exercised daily to prevent muscle loss caused by weightlessness. He grew vegetables in a special greenhouse and recycled water using sophisticated systems.
The view from the window was breathtaking—Earth appeared as a beautiful blue sphere surrounded by blackness. Sam communicated with his family via video calls, though he missed them terribly. One day, a meteor damaged the solar panels, and Sam performed a dangerous spacewalk to repair them. Floating in space, attached only by a thin cable, he felt both terrified and exhilarated.
The mission was successful, and Sam returned to Earth as a hero. He hoped that future generations would explore distant planets and establish permanent colonies.
