General Comments: Reference also reports equation and lattice parameters as a function of ''Yb'' content in ''Tl In1-x Ybx S2''.

Sample Preparation: A mixture of appropriate amounts of the elements, sealed in a silica tube under vacuum, was heated above the melting point of the compound for 2-3 hours.

Unit Cell: ''Tl In0.98 Yb0.02 S2'': a=8.130, c=6.724.

''Tl In0.95 Yb0.05 S2'': a=8.136, c=6.720.
