combinationofthesefactorscausedthecrashofsnowcrabpopulationsbetweentheyears2018
and2019,whenthespeciesdecreasedbymorethan90%.Thepopulationstillhasn’trecovered.
Afterthelasttwoback-to-backyearswithoutacommercialfishery,fishermenhavealsonot
fullyrecovered.Thenewreportindicatesthefisherymaybeentirelydisplacedinthecoming
