Instructions
This logical reasoning test comprises 12 questions, each containing a grid of symbols. In
each question one of the symbols is missing. Your task is to choose which one of the options
best fits the missing symbol.
Each question will have 12 possible answers, one of which is correct. You will have to work
quickly and accurately to perform well in this test. There is no overall time limit for the test, but
there is a limit of 70 seconds for each question.
Try to find a time and place where you will not be interrupted during the test. The test will start
on the next page

Rule 1: From top to bottom, rightmost and leftmost arrow rotate 45° anticlockwise.
Rule 2: From left to right, the central arrows rotate 45° clockwise.

Rule 2: From left to right, this combined square goes from being the bottom square, to the middle

Rule 1: From left to right, the shaded triangle moves one place clockwise every second box. This
continues onto the next row. In the boxes with the ‘sad’ face, no triangles are highlighted.
Rule 2: From left to right the face rotates 60° clockwise (aligning with the next triangle) and
alternates from ‘happy’ to ‘sad’. This continues onto the next row.
Q4 What replaces the question mark?
Rule 1: From left to right, the symbol is rotated 90° anticlockwise, this continues on the next line.
Rule 2: An arrow is added to the symbol each time a new line begins.

B) Only diagonal arrows
C) One horizontal and one vertical

black square.

both diagonal.
