作文范文
Last weekend, in response to our school's call that everyone should strive to be a
volunteer,I went to City’s Nursing Home and volunteered to help to take care of the old
with my classmates.
We brought some beautiful flowers and fruits for our seniors. Meanwhile, some were
doing housework and chores to have a clean and comfortable environment to live in. And
for those who were good at communicating, they were chatting with the old to share some
good stories. On the contrary, the old people told us their life experience which helped us
have a better understanding of our history. And the others were singing and dancing with
the old people.
We had a wonderful day there even though we all felt very tired and exhausted. But we
should pay more attention to and take good care of the elderly people to show our great
respect for them. And from volunteering,I have learned many things that I have never
learned in class---life is the most beautiful love.

第一段;
Today, she showed up in a raincoat. The moment I saw her, I felt my heart
overflowing with embarrassment and unease, fearing that my classmates might witness
this. “Hide under the raincoat,” she said gently, opening the raincoat to make room. I
hesitated, biting my lips. "No, Mom. Riding the bike is embarrassing enough. I don't want
to hide under your raincoat," I whispered, trying to keep my voice steady. A look of
disappointment and hurt flashed across my mother's face, but she quickly masked it with a
smile. Without another word, I climbed onto the back of the bike and then we rode off.
第二段:
Mom tried to cover me with the back of the raincoat again as a storm set in. So
heavy was the rain that I was too cold to refuse. I hid under the raincoat and embracing her
tightly, my face pressing against her warm back. "Poverty isn't something to be ashamed
of, dear. It's just a part of life. What truly matters is that we have each other, and the love
and warmth of our family," my mother said in a calm and reassuring voice. After hearing
her words, I felt a wave of guilt washing over me, tears of regret streaming down my face.
At that moment, I realized that true happiness lay not in material possessions, but in the
simple joys and the company of my family.
