Dear classmates,
Elephants are the largest mammals on land. They can live as long as 80 years. However, these
days the number of elephants is becoming much smaller. Because people cut down forests, they
are losing their homes. Also, people kill them for their ivory. Elephants are in great danger. I
think we should try our best to protect them. First, we should help make rules to stop people
from killing elephants. Secondly, we shouldn't cut down trees. Thirdly, we shouldn't buy
anything made of ivory.
I believe everyone's contribution (贡献) can make a big difference.
