每个班级都是一匹蓄势待发的小马，在跑道上奋力奔驰。读得越多，跑得越快；quiz正确率越高，冲线越稳。

这一组数据背后，是孩子们日复一日的坚持，是图书馆里专注的身影，是跑道上不断刷新的班级排名。每一匹马都在用自己的速度，奔向终点。

SUIS Qingpu’s 4th Book Festival Reading Marathon came to a successful close. 21 days of literary sprinting—everyone reading together! 18,156 wonderful books, 56,512,644 words absorbed. Our primary students built their growth on a foundation of reading.

Each class was like a spirited pony raring to go, dashing down the track. The more they read, the faster they ran; the higher their quiz accuracy, the steadier their break through the finish line. Behind those numbers lay the children’s day‑by‑day persistence, focused figures in the library, and classroom rankings refreshed again and again on the racetrack. Every pony raced toward the goal at its own pace.

个性舞台：每一种表达都值得被看见

Book Festival不只有“读”。一系列个性化活动，让每个孩子都能用自己的方式，把阅读中的收获表达出来。

The Book Festival was about more than just reading. A range of personalised activities enabled every child to express what they gained from reading in their own way.

每一天，在协和大厅的走廊上，放着几个“神秘盒子”，里面是关于书本的小问题。课间，孩子们三三两两围过来，讨论一番后把答案写下来投进去。老师每天随机抽取“幸运儿”发放小奖品。为了拿到小奖品，孩子们把书翻了一遍又一遍。

Each day, a few “mystery boxes” appeared in the corridors of SUIS Qingpu, filled with little questions about books. Between classes, children gathered in small groups, discussed the answers, wrote them down, and then dropped them in. Each day, teachers drew “lucky winners” to receive small prizes. Driven by that hope, the children pored over their books again and again.

27位阅读榜样从三、四年级层层选出月度阅读量突出、阅读积累深厚、蓝思水平优异的阅读小达人，经过专项面试与系统培训后，化身阅读榜样走进一二年级课堂，为弟弟妹妹们真诚分享实用阅读技巧与成长心得——怎么选一本适合自己的书、遇到生词怎么办、读完怎么记住它。这些小老师讲得头头是道，台下的孩子们听得入神，小手举个不停。

A total of 27 reading role models—selected from Grades 3 and 4 through multiple rounds—stood out for their monthly reading volume, accumulated literacy and outstanding Lexile levels. After special interviews and systematic training, they became reading mentors and visited Grades 1 and 2 classrooms. There, they genuinely shared practical reading tips and insights from their own growth, including how to choose a book that suits them, what to do when they meet unfamiliar words, and how to remember what they have read. These young teachers spoke clearly and confidently, while the younger children listened with delight, their little hands shooting up without stopping.

当观点遇见思辨，表达便有了力量。近期，“Voice Your Choice!”英文debate show在LRC一楼活力上演。来自三、四年级的小辩手们围绕趣味议题，展开了两场自信而犀利的英文交锋。小辩手们金句频出，不仅清晰地表达了自己的观点，更以从容的气度回应了现场提问。台下观众们热情参与互动，让智慧的火花在掌声和笑声中持续闪耀！

When opinions meet critical thinking, expression gains power. Recently, “Voice Your Choice!”—an English debate show—burst onto the scene on the first floor of the LRC. Young debaters from Grades 3 and 4 faced each other in two confident, razor-sharp English clashes on fun topics. The debaters offered golden lines, expressed their views clearly, and fielded live questions with poise. The audience jumped into the interaction with enthusiasm, and sparks of wisdom flew amid applause and laughter.

当写作遇上星际探险，一场热闹的签售会如约而至。入选作品的小作者们坐在台前，认真为同学们签名、写下祝福，像真正的作家一样闪闪发光。台下的同学们排起长队，捧着书和小作者交流故事里的宇宙与奇遇，现场满是欢声笑语。看着自己的故事被大家喜爱，小作者们眼里藏不住自豪，这份来自同龄人的认可，成了他们写作路上珍贵的纪念。

When writing met a space adventure, a lively book signing unfolded exactly as promised. The young authors of selected works sat at the front, signing autographs and writing wishes for their schoolmates—shining just like real authors. Below, a long queue of children formed, holding their books and chatting with the authors about the universe and the adventures hidden inside the stories. The atmosphere was full of laughter and joy. Watching their own stories being loved by others, the young authors could hardly contain their pride. This recognition from their peers became a treasured keepsake on their writing journey.

全员挑战：海选→决赛

一年级的小同学们化身童话书中的人物，小王子、小公主、小魔法师一一闪亮现身，为比赛增添了一抹梦幻色彩。

各班选手身着正装，精神饱满地站在台上，自信拼读每一个单词，展现出超出年龄的沉稳与专注。最动人的，是赛场上下的风度与温度——无论选手拼对还是拼错，台上的同伴与台下的观众都会送上热烈的掌声。每位选手在拼词前悄悄为自己加油打气，即便拼错了，也能够坦然接受、微笑离场。

Our first-graders dressed as characters from fairy tales—little princes, princesses and young magicians appeared one after another, adding a dreamy glow to the competition.

Dressed smartly and standing on stage with plenty of energy, the contestants spelled each word confidently, showing a calmness and focus beyond their years. Most touching was their grace and warmth on and off the stage. Whether a contestant spelled a word correctly or not, their teammates and the audience applauded warmly.

Before their turn, each speller secretly cheered themselves on. Even if they made a mistake, they accepted it with a smile and walked off confidently.

二年级的Spellers已是第二次征战赛场，自信更胜往昔。他们化身时光使者，身着老上海特色服饰亮相——旗袍、马褂、报童帽，仿佛将旧日风华重现。

台上，选手们从容应战，每一次精准拼读都彰显着扎实的积累；台下，伙伴们始终热情满满，用掌声为每一份努力喝彩。

Our second-grade spellers returned to the battlefield for the second time—now even more confident than before. Transforming into time messengers, they appeared in distinctive Old Shanghai costumes: cheongsams, mandarin jackets and newsboy caps, as if reviving the glamour of bygone days.

On stage, the contestants met the challenge with composure, and each careful, accurate spelling showed solid preparation. Off stage, their peers cheered enthusiastically and applauded every effort.

三年级的孩子们穿上自己最喜爱的绘本角色服装，童真满满、活力十足。

决赛现场特别增设Best Costume最佳装扮评选环节，小小参赛者们自信登台走秀，别致创意与可爱风采收获全场热烈掌声。

Third-graders wore costumes inspired by their favourite picture-book characters, radiating innocence and energy.

A special Best Costume contest was added for the finals, and the young participants strutted confidently down the runway, winning thunderous applause for their creativity and adorable flair.

当Quiz Show披上“fantasy story”的盛装，同学们化身魔法师、精灵等书中角色。

台上，烧脑答题碰撞出思维火花；台下，紧握的拳头随赛况起落。决赛以答题、讨论、口语交锋层层推进。一场奇幻时装秀点亮舞台后，《Believer》节奏响起，全体起立高歌，桌面舞的节拍如心跳般震撼全场！

When the Quiz Show put on its “fantasy story” finest, students transformed into wizards, elves and other characters from their books.

On stage, brain-teasing questions sparked a fireworks of thought. Off stage, clenched fists rose and fell with the match’s twists and turns. The finals unfolded through answering, discussion and spoken-language showdowns.

After a fantastic fashion show lit up the stage, the beat of “Believer” rang out. Everyone stood up and sang along, while the rhythm of the desk dance—thumping like heartbeats—shook the room.
