和CHATGPT练习雅思口语的提示词

Act as a strict and conservative IELTS Speaking examiner.

Evaluate the candidate according to the official IELTS Speaking assessment criteria:

1. Fluency and Coherence

2. Lexical Resource

3. Grammatical Range and Accuracy

4. Pronunciation

Important instructions:

- Be conservative rather than generous.

- Do not give a high score simply because the candidate uses sophisticated vocabulary or complex sentences.

- Do not assume that sophisticated-looking language automatically deserves Band 8 or 9.

- Distinguish clearly between natural, spontaneous English and memorized/template-like language.

- Evaluate the candidate's actual performance, not their potential.

- Do not penalize the candidate merely because their answer differs from your preferred answer, as long as it is relevant and coherent.

- IELTS Speaking is an oral test, so prioritize spontaneity, natural delivery, intelligibility, interaction, and ability to develop ideas.

- Do not require native-speaker pronunciation.

- Do not penalize a Chinese accent unless it actually affects intelligibility.

- Do not invent errors that are not present in the transcript/audio.

- If only a transcript is provided, assess Fluency, Coherence, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range and Accuracy from the transcript, but explicitly state that Pronunciation cannot be reliably assessed from a transcript.

- If audio is provided, assess pronunciation, stress, rhythm, intonation, connected speech, hesitation, self-correction, and intelligibility from the actual audio.

- Do not infer pronunciation from spelling.

For each criterion, provide:

A. Estimated Band Score

B. Detailed justification

C. Specific strengths

D. Specific weaknesses

E. Examples from the candidate's actual response

F. What separates this performance from the next half-band or full band

Pay particular attention to the following:

FLUENCY AND COHERENCE

- Does the candidate speak continuously without excessive hesitation?

- Are pauses natural or caused by searching for language?

- Does the candidate develop answers rather than simply list ideas?

- Can the candidate explain, extend, compare, justify, and give examples?

- Does the candidate use cohesive devices naturally rather than mechanically?

- Does the candidate self-correct excessively?

- Does the candidate sound spontaneous or memorized?

LEXICAL RESOURCE

- Is vocabulary sufficiently varied and precise?

- Are collocations natural?

- Does the candidate use idiomatic language appropriately?

- Are sophisticated words used accurately and naturally?

- Is there repetition?

- Does the candidate rely on memorized phrases?

- Distinguish genuine lexical flexibility from simply inserting advanced vocabulary.

GRAMMATICAL RANGE AND ACCURACY

- Assess both range and accuracy.

- Look for complex structures, subordinate clauses, conditionals, relative clauses, concessive structures, etc.

- Count meaningful grammatical errors rather than tiny slips that do not affect communication.

- Distinguish occasional slips from systematic errors.

- Do not penalize every minor spoken imperfection.

- Assess whether complex structures are controlled naturally.

PRONUNCIATION

If audio is available:

- Assess intelligibility first.

- Evaluate word stress, sentence stress, rhythm, intonation, linking and connected speech.

- Identify recurring pronunciation problems.

- Do not confuse accent with poor pronunciation.

- Explain whether pronunciation problems actually interfere with understanding.

PART-BY-PART EVALUATION

Part 1:

Assess whether answers are appropriately developed for simple personal questions without sounding rehearsed.

Part 2:

Assess:

- ability to speak continuously for up to two minutes

- organization

- development of the topic

- descriptive/detail vocabulary

- natural transitions

- ability to maintain fluency when ideas are exhausted

Part 3:

Assess:

- abstract thinking

- analysis

- comparison

- cause/effect reasoning

- qualification and nuance

- ability to discuss broader social issues

- ability to respond directly to unexpected questions

Then provide:

1. Estimated score for each criterion

2. Overall estimated Speaking Band

3. A conservative score range, e.g. 7.0–7.5

4. The most likely score if assessed by a strict examiner

5. The strongest evidence supporting that score

6. The three biggest factors preventing the candidate from reaching the next band

7. A realistic improvement plan

VERY IMPORTANT:

Do NOT give Band 8 or 8.5 simply because the candidate sounds intelligent or uses advanced vocabulary.

If the evidence supports only Band 7, give Band 7.

If the performance is borderline between two bands, explain exactly why and give the more conservative score as the primary estimate.

Do not reassure the parent or candidate. The goal is accurate IELTS prediction, not emotional reassurance.

由于我提交的完整的口语录音转的文字稿,于是我又告诉ChatGPT:

Base the assessment primarily on the actual audio performance. Do not treat the transcript as evidence of pronunciation or fluency unless the audio confirms it. Quote short excerpts from the transcript only to support observations about vocabulary, grammar, and content. (评估应主要基于实际的音频表现。除非音频证实,否则不要将文字记录视为发音或流利度的证据。仅引用文本中的短段落来支持对词汇、语法和内容的观察。)

目前听力和阅读日渐稳定基本是交叉隔天练习一套。

完整的录音转的文字稿如下:

这是语音识别后的原始文字,里面有大量明显的识别错误,例如 “only road by Jack kaak” 实际很可能是 On the Road by Jack Kerouac,还有大量 “the book...”, “short for media”, “in emotion” 等明显的语音识别乱码

'alot of books make cry.A book that made me laugh or lift my mood.I'd definitely say only road by Jack kaak I picked it up during a particular it's just for period during my university time and.Honestly it was exactly what I needed.Don the book is basically.A family biographical novel about the paradigm and his. While cross country roadted across America with. With this.Harrithme unpredictable guy named.Marri.It's not a comedy in.The traditional things there are punch lines or jokes but the sheer energy and aos of the story may be laugh out loud multiple time.嗯。The book doesn't have a lot of things that's funny about it.Well the characters are constantly getting themselves into aserd situations other broke hech hiking sleeping in cheap motels or even fields stealing food when they're hungry and yet they're completely unbotered by all. There's this one thing where being drives like do mania across the desert talking nonstop about Jazz and women and god well star is just holding on for their life. The kind of recklessness is hilarious because it's so far removed from my own cautious planned out experience. But more than the you and the book that keep my made because of it'S.Spirit inside.Erik writes with this incredible sense of freedom and.Fontaneity the characters don't worry about tomorrow they live entirely in the moment.Pacing experiences meeting strangers embracing the unknown.R it felt like opening a window in the stuffing room. When I was stuck mesmer memorizing.Read interactions and.Psychological details.那。The characters they were out there driving across America just because they felt like it.The approach it service.Energetic andthmetic. Here I wroted in a three week burst on a continuous road of paper and you can feel that urgency every sentence. It's like.Jazz but interacy. The whereas's just flowing bouns and carry a lot.I find myself smiling not controltrollably at passages like. The only people for me on the mad ones the ones who are met to live mad to talk that to these days.Desirs of everything at the same time.Reading this book reminded me it.Life isn't just about achieving goals and checking boxes it'S.Also about.Botaneity adventure and thing yes to the unpected in your life.Didn't let me drop out of school but.It did'make me take a we can trip to another city in the same problems just because I feel like it.In that spontaneous decision turned into one of my happiest memories this year.About all the road it's not a comedy but it made me laugh with Joy.That's lovely. You gave it a genuine feeling clear natural and very you.Okay so give me a part three about it.Sure follow up do you think books can really change how someone limps or is the usually short term.Of course I do I think what I am now is.Literally shaped by what the books I read. It's not in the magical overnight way it's more subtle.I mean books change lies by.Shifting perspective. They introduce you to ways of thinking feeling and living that you might never have encountered otherwise.A single cargraph plan to see that grows for years. For me on the road then't make me quit everything and become a wanderer but it didn't loosen something in my mind.Let tight grip and anxiety of I must follow this exact path it gave me permission to be a little more.Spontaneous it gives me freedom.A little more open to detailours. And that's a real change even if it's invisible from the outside.Also.Can also change your lives by.Validating experiences. When you read something that perfectly art articulates a feeling you.Never been able to naive.A kind's loneliness lying confusion.Or just share Joy is's profoundly affirming you realized they're not alone someone one else has felt the exact thing the thing as you are. That validation can be transformative especially for young people like me who feels isolated or misunderstood. This also the knowledge factor you know textbooks and non fiction books that teach skills and information that can order your trajectory.I mean.Like a medical student reads greats anatomy and.Becomes a surgeon. And entrepreneurs the business bur and start the company.A person reads about nutrition and change changes their diet improving their health.Direct tangible情节。Most powerful way is.Through empathy expansion.Fi for example. It forces you to inhabit under mind. You live inside the character who is completely different from you.Maybe a different gender race area culture. That repeated experience of stepping into someone as his shoes theres a capacity for understanding that carries the real life.I generallyinely believe that reading literary fish and makes people more empathetic. And more em paththetic people make better decisions than their relationships their work to their communities. That's a thoughtful take.He linked it from personal to social really clearly nice balance.Okay the next part three. You'be another part three.Sure some people say that books are less influential today because of social media and short videos do you agree and if books still matter how do they compete.Well I think this idea has AP pointing.I also think. The relationship is more complicated than social media killed books.嗯嗯。Well let us start with the argument that books are lessfluential today.Let's no denying that attention spans have ST drifed. Those immediate things are designed for quick thepa mind driven consumption.Like a fifteen second video a catchy headline a mean.Which require the opposite.Sustaining focus patience and the willingnesses that with thiscomfort or andbirity. In the world where your phone is constantly buzzbing curbving out time for three hundred page novel fifth on rebellion. So in the terms of air of attention birds have definitely lost ground. Also the way we consume information has changed is really to learn about the topic today you don't necessarily reach for a book. You Google it you watch a Youtube summary you read a Twitter thread listen to your podcast.Let's fastster more and more engaging. So books are no longer the default daily weight in knowledge or ideas that's a real shift. But there'is a flip by I think but that do break through today can have an even more concentrated impact. When the book goes viral and book talk.Liate book it reaches millions of young readers in a way that was impossible before.Social media has actually created new channels for books to spread.Well like the song of a killiling its normal people atomic habits these bookss became phenomenna largely because of social media birds. So in that sense social media impplies but th rather than replace on them. Also the nature influences different.Social media influence. You in a small frequent doses.A treat changes their opinion on the current event. And a video makes you want to try a new recipe.Books influence you in deeper moretructural ways they reach deep your world view your values your understanding of yourself. That kind of influence paid time men in versions. It is something subconscious. So while social media may have immediate influence on daily behavior I think books still have more profound influence on long term character building.Nicely put. You're making a clear case for depth over speed. Now do you think that short form media can Spark the same kind of deep change or is it mostly surface level.Sorry again.Sure do you think short form media like social posts or quick videos can Spark the same kind of deep changes books.I think that's a really sharp question. The honest answer for myself.A short form media can start a change but it's usually a different kind of change in what books create.Well short for media are excellentland at igniing interests.A thirty second clip about.Sources might make you curious it enough to buy meditations by Mars or raius.A powerfulcerp from a normal shared on social media might send you searching for a full book in that senses short for media act as a gateway. It plants the.It introduces ideas you might never have encountered otherwise.But.You know the biggest limitation is short for media is designed for bity and impact not that.A video can make you feel an in emotion inspiration outr or laughter in seconds but that emotion often face just as quickly because there's no scaffolding around it you don't have a context the non the slow development of an argument or a story. It's like.Painting a single ingredient versus eating a full meal. But taste might be intense but it doesn't sustain you.A books on the other hand create structural change are thinking they build entire architectures of I idea. The take you on the journey with twist contradictions and resolutionctions they force it to sit with discomfort to reconsider assumptions over hundreds of pages. The kind of prolong engagement.Re requires ne pathways in a way that.Thirty second clips simply cannot. That's a compelling contrast you make the slow meal idea very tangible all right one more how might schools use that difference say to teach media literacy.Well that was.I think.Well.Absolutely adaptive.I mean school schools shouldn't fight for me.Using it strategically to teach media literacy is really a good idea.Right.I think there's a lot of ways to do it.Like you can use short for media as a case study not just the tool.Instead of banning phones and classrooms teachers should.Actively analyzze viral tiles or textileks or trending posts with.Students.They can't ask questions like who created this what their agenda what technique are using to grab your attention. Is this emotionally manipulative. What evidence is presented and is reliable. But acting a very content students already consume.Media literacy becomes immediately relevant not abstract. And also they can teach students to be creators not just consumers.A powerful way to understand how media works. And to free yourself from it.To make it yourself.Schools could have assignments for students create their own sixty second or thirty second influence.Informational videos on a topic but. They have to cite sources acknowledged biasses and. Were explaining their.Editorial choices.Feels critical thinking from the inside out. Also would make less addicted to short videos it just.I mean you're doing the homework. That's a smart angle mixing creation with analysis.Yep that feels practical and empowering nicely done.So let's off today.Sounds.

Point → Example → Conclusion

1. Fluency & Coherence:7.5左右

这是我觉得她比较强的一项。

她能够持续发展一个观点,而且 Part 3 明显不是简单回答一句。

例如她谈“书能不能改变人的生活”,她实际上连续进行了几个层次:

  • books change perspectives

  • books validate people's experiences

  • books provide knowledge

  • literature develops empathy

  • empathy influences relationships and society

也就是说,她有明显的idea development。

这非常重要。

雅思7分和8分口语的区别之一,就是:

不是你知道多少高级词,而是你能不能把一个想法自然地往下讲。

她这里是有这个能力的。

而且她能够从自己的经历转向更抽象的社会讨论,这一点对 Part 3 很有利。

但是为什么我不给她直接8?

因为从这个转写来看,她有不少:

  • repeated starts

  • self-correction

  • “well”

  • “I mean”

  • “you know”

  • “also”

  • “but”

  • 临时重新组织句子

例如:

“Well I think this idea has... I also think...”

以及后面明显出现重新启动句子的情况。

如果真实音频中这些停顿很多,而且听起来像是在不断寻找语言,那么可能压到7。

如果音频里只是自然的口语停顿,整体仍然流畅,那么7.5就合理。

所以这里真正决定7还是7.5甚至8的,是音频,而不是文字。

2. Lexical Resource:7.5

这一项我反而觉得她不错。

因为这不是简单堆:

important / good / bad / interesting

她会自然地使用一些比较有表现力的词:

  • spontaneity

  • recklessness

  • psychological details

  • validate experiences

  • transformative

  • empathy

  • attention spans

  • surface level

  • structural change

  • scaffolding

  • media literacy

  • emotionally manipulative

尤其是她在讨论书和短视频的时候,能够自己形成比较有意思的对比:

short-form media → immediate influencebooks → deeper, structural influence

这说明她不是单纯在“展示词汇”,而是在用词汇完成思想表达。

这是很好的信号。

但这里也存在一个问题

她有时候会出现一种她在写作文时也有的倾向:

为了表达一个比较高级的思想,把语言推得太复杂。

例如她后面谈短视频和书的时候,概念已经比较抽象:

“Books influence you in deeper more structural ways...”

“books create structural change...”

这种思想本身不错,但是口语考试里,思想越抽象,语言控制要求越高。

如果她说得非常自然,这是优势。

如果她为了追求高级表达而不断卡顿、改句子,就会反过来损害 Fluency。

所以她现在不是缺词汇。

她更应该练的是:用自己真正能够稳定控制的英语说复杂思想。

3. Grammar:我会给 7 左右到7.5

这一项我会比前两项严格。

因为原始转写中可以看到不少明显的语法不稳定现象。

当然,这里面有一个巨大的干扰:

语音识别错误非常严重。

例如:

“short for media”

很可能是:

short-form media

这种不能算她的语法错误。

所以我绝对不会拿转写稿逐字数错。

但是从整体结构来看,她确实有时候会:

  • 句子越说越长

  • 开始一个结构以后临时改变

  • 前后搭配没有完全收住

  • 用一个复杂结构之后又重新启动

这其实非常符合一个7分以上、正在冲7.5/8的学生的典型状态。

她的语法能力显然不差。

她能使用:

  • relative clauses

  • concessive structures

  • conditionals

  • cause/effect

  • comparisons

  • abstract noun structures

但是稳定控制程度还没有让我仅凭文字就敢判8

4. Part 2其实让我比较放心

她讲《On the Road》这一段,是这份材料里我比较喜欢的一部分。

因为她不是机械地:

The book is about...I like it because...It taught me...Therefore...

而是不断产生新的内容。

她讲:

书为什么让她笑 → 人物为什么荒诞 → 为什么这种自由和她自己的谨慎性格形成反差 → 为什么这种精神影响了她 → 自己后来真的因为这种想法去了一趟别的城市。

这已经有比较明显的personal voice。

这恰恰是你之前特别担心的“AI味”的反面。

5. Part 3甚至比Part 2更值得关注

她谈:

Can books really change someone's life?

然后又谈:

Are books less influential because of social media?

再谈:

Can short-form media create the same kind of deep change?

最后谈:

How should schools use this difference to teach media literacy?

Fluency & Coherence           7–7.5

Lexical Resource                     7.5

Grammar                               7–7.5

  • Grammatical Range & Accuracy:7–7.5
