widen in terror/horror/surprise 因恐惧/惊讶而睁大

dart around nervously 紧张地四处乱瞟

fix on the ground 死死盯着地面

glaze over with panic 因恐慌而变得呆滞

fix on something with terror 恐惧地盯着某物

(eyes) fill with fear （眼中）充满恐惧

(one's heart raced, eyes) frozen 心跳加速，双眼呆滞

主语是look

a look of panic (flashed) in one's eyes 眼中(闪过)惊慌

例句：

His eyes widened in terror as the car sped towards him.

当汽车朝他疾驰而来时，他惊恐地睁大了双眼。

His eyesdarted around nervously, afraid of being noticed.

他的眼睛紧张地四处乱瞟，生怕被人注意到。

Her eyesglazed over with panic when she couldn't find her ticket.

找不到票时，她的双眼因恐慌而变得呆滞。

His eyes filled with fear as the door creaked open.

门吱呀一声打开时，他的双眼充满了恐惧。

A look of panic flashed in his eyes as the door slammed shut.

门砰地关上时，他的眼中闪过惊慌。

narrow into slits 眯成细缝

flash with fury/rage (眼中)闪过狂怒/暴怒

burn with resentment 燃烧着怨恨

例句：

Her eyesnarrowed into slits as she listened to his excuse.

她的眼睛眯成一条细缝，听着他的借口。

Her eyes flashed with fury as she read the letter.

读信时，她的眼中闪过狂怒。

His eyes burned with resentment after years of being ignored.

被忽视多年后，他的眼中燃烧着怨恨。

A cold, hard stare from the teacher silenced the whole class.

老师一道冰冷严厉的注视让全班安静了下来。

He shot daggers at the man who had insulted his friend.

他狠狠瞪着那个侮辱他朋友的人。
