It shines in the dark sky.

Mother brings out a box of mooncakes.

They are round and sweet.

“Mooncakes look like the moon!” says Lily.

Page 3

Father says, “The moon is round tonight.”

Lily looks up and says, “I see a round moon!”

They all smile at the bright moon.

Lily gives Grandpa a mooncake.

“Thank you, dear,” says Grandpa.

Family stays together on this beautiful night.

At bedtime, Lily looks at the moon again.

“The moon is beautiful,” she says.
