肉干、芹菜、莲子、红枣、桂圆、红豆

In ancient times, the apprenticeship ceremony featured the Six Ritual Gifts (Shuxiu), namely dried meat, celery, lotus seeds, red dates, longans and red beans.

每一样，都藏着温柔祝福：

🪷 莲子：苦心求学，修身立德

These modest gifts are never for comparison, but a sincere desire for knowledge from the young learner.

师父收徒，亦会回赠笔墨、书籍。

寓意：

执笔书前程，开笔启智慧。

从此师徒相伴，学海同行，共赴成长。

Masters would also reciprocate with writing brushes, ink sticks and books.
