Teaching Aims:
1. Be able to listen, say, recognize the words: noodles, vegetables, eggs, fish, chicken, rice.
2. Be able to sing the chant with the tape.
3. Be able to discuss the hobby about food: Do you like…? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.

1. Be able to recognize the words.
2. The pronounce of vegetables.

1. Word cards with pictures: noodles, rice, chicken, fish, vegetables, eggs.
2. PPT.
Teaching Procedures:
Step 1: Warming up
1. Sing a song
2. Free talk
T: Hello, boys and girls.
S: Hello, teacher.
T: Do you like apples?
S1: Yes, I do.
S2: No, I don’t.
Step 2: Presentation
1. T: I like fruits. But I also like eating them.(T shows food pictures) They are food. What’s the
meaning of food?
S: 食物。
T: Great! They are food.Look, I like noodles. (T shows noodles)
T: Noodles↗↘ S: Noodles↗↘
T: Noodles, noodles, I like noodles.S: Noodles, noodles, I like noodles.
2. Teach rice, fish, chicken, eggs, vegetables like above.
Pay attention to the pronunciation of vegetables.
Step 3: Practice
1. Game: High-low voice, Clap the cards, Climb the floors, Bomb.
2. Let’s chant.
1) Read after T
2) Say with the tape
3) Say by yourself
Add activity
1. T: do you like fish?
S1: Yes, I do. (Taking away the card)
S2: No, I don’t. (Change the role and go on)
