OK，现在我写自创一篇浮梁古县衙英文导游词做例子。

1. What (What is this place?)

This is Fuliang Ancient County Government. It is also called “the No.1 Ancient Yamen in South China”. A yamen is the old office for local government in ancient China.

2. When (When was it built and developed?)

The history of this yamen started in 816, in the Tang Dynasty. It has a history of more than 1,200 years.

It was rebuilt in the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty.

From the Tang Dynasty to the early 20th century, it served as the local government for six dynasties. About 347 county officers worked here in the long history. In 1916, the local government moved to another place, and this old yamen became a historical scenic spot.

3. Where (Where is it located?)

（旧城） Village, Fuliang County, Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province. It is about 8 kilometers away from the downtown area of Jingdezhen.

In ancient times, county magistrates worked here to manage local people, public order and trade.

Most county magistrates in ancient China were 7th-grade officials.

But Fuliang’s magistrate was a 5th-grade official, one level higher than ordinary county officers.

The main reason is that Fuliang was extremely rich in ancient times.

It was famous for porcelain and tea trade. It provided a large amount of money for the country, so the court upgraded its official grade.

5. Why (Why is it famous and worth visiting?)

First, it has a long history and complete original layout. It keeps the classic structure of ancient Chinese local government.

Second, its 5th-grade grade is very rare for a county-level yamen in China.

Third, it shows the real local political life and official culture of ancient China.

People say “one ancient yamen tells half of China’s official history”.

It helps us learn how ancient Chinese local governments worked hundreds of years ago.

6. How (How was it built and how to visit it?)

The whole yamen was built with traditional Chinese ancient building skills.

It has a clear and neat layout, including gates, courtyards, main halls and side rooms.

All buildings follow strict ancient official building rules. Now, we can walk along the fixed visiting route.

We can watch the old buildings, learn ancient official rules and feel the thousand-year local culture.

There are also cultural corridors and ancient monuments for us to visit.
