The online concert is absolutely fantastic! The performance featuring a
wide range of music genres and interactive games was of such high quality
that it was a true feast for both the eyes and ears. Online as it was, the
concert created an engaging atmosphere which was just as exciting as the live
performance.
What impressed me most was the perfect integration of a Chinese folk
pieces and a British one. There is no doubt that it’s a brilliant idea and a
perfect execution. It was this immersive experience that brought students from
different cultures together and promote culture exchange through the power of
music.
However, I do feel the stage equipment could be improved in future
performances. In any case, this concert was truly unforgettable and significant.

With my mom’s gentle encouragement, I knew I had to try. I took a deep breath
and slowly reached out my hand towards Chips. My fingers trembled as I extended
them towards him and for a moment, I hesitated. Memories of past fear surged
through my mind, but I pushed them aside. I closed my eyes briefly and forced myself
to touch him. To my surprise, instead of barking or pulling away, Chips simply
wagged his tail and leaned into my hand. The softness of his fur under my fingers was
comforting, and a small smile crept onto my face.
I continued to pat him, feeling something had changed in my mind. Chips wagged
his tail, his eyes filled with kindness, not aggression. I sat back, watching him settle at
my feet, and the weight of the fear I had carried for so long began to lift. My mom
smiled, clearly noticing the change in me, and I smile back. I had thought that all dogswanted to hurt me, but Chips had proven me wrong. For the first time since the attack,
I felt like I could let go of my fear and start to trust again. Only then did I realize that
to conquer fear is the beginning of growth.
