Check Ss’ homework by asking them to present their pie charts and tell the class about their
survey results.

Jane is a 16-year-old high school student in the United States. American Teenager
magazine asked her about her habits. Jane has a lot of good habits. She _______

watches TV for more than two hours a day, and she _________ eats hamburgers. Her

Read Jane’s information again and answer the questions.

Give Ss 10 minutes to write their reports. When the time is up, have some Ss present their
report to the class.

5. Homework
1. 1. Get into pairs and work on the health quiz and Self-Check on page 16.
