Two Hours’ Shower

Antie Xu has a habit, it always takes her about two hours to take a shower each time.

The bathroom is still cold despite turning on the bathroom heater in February. So, she keeps the water running during her shower.

One day, after Aunt Xu finished her shower. Her husband seriously said:

“I just received a phone call from Yellow River Conservancy Commission.”

Aunt Xu believed what he said. 

“Have you really received a phone call from Yellow River Conservancy Commission? Why did they call you?”

Her husband replied in a mysterious tone.‌‌‌

“They claimed the Yellow River had run dry, so they sent someone to check, and concluded the issue originated from your household.”

Aunt Xu asked in confusion.

“How could the problem possibly from our family? That’s nonsense!” 

Her husband replied seriously again:

“They said that the inspection results showed that your household water consumption was too high, causing the Yellow River stop flowing.’”

It turns out Aunt Xu’s husband is teasing her again—once again, she’s being fooled by her husband unsurprisingly.

She fell for his trick again.
