主题直击当下教育最核心的焦虑与期待：AI时代，青少年如何重塑思维、升级学习、坚守价值？
我们不做焦虑的贩卖机，只想认真聆听年轻人的声音。主持人Bella Ji携手教育创新者Lee Alan Ma、燎原双语的学生Frank、浦东康德学校的学生Alvin，展开了一场真诚又火花四溅的对谈。

死记硬背过时了吗？
专家说：不，但只做这一件事肯定不够
面对“AI每月都在更新”的节奏，家长最关心的是：传统的背诵、刷题，还有用吗？
教育专家Lee Alan Ma 的回答很直接：
每个人都想摆脱记忆和死记硬背，但我认为这从来都不是好主意。掌握基础知识是每个学生必须掌握的基本技能。 关键在于——你学什么，以及如何应用它。
所以，AI时代不是要抛弃基本功，而是要追问：学了这个知识，你能拿来做什么？
弹钢琴、打游戏、写作文：两个中学生眼中的“AI使用说明书”？
来自燎原双语的Frank是个爱弹钢琴、爱玩《塞尔达传说》的男孩。当被问到“AI能不能帮你练琴”时，他的回答让人眼前一亮：
AI可以帮你更快认谱，告诉你哪里需要改进。但真正弹出来的声音，是你的肌肉记住的，不是AI替你弹的。
至于打游戏——他掏出随身带的Switch：
“玩《旷野之息》，AI可以告诉你迷宫怎么走、战斗怎么打。但它给的方案不一定完美。最重要的是，你得找到自己的通关方式。”
来自康德学校的Alvin则分享了一次真实的“翻车”经历：他让AI帮忙润色英语作文，AI给了一堆华丽的词。结果写完一看，整篇文章“特别不自然”。
他没有照单全收，而是追问AI：“为什么这么不自然？能不能给我更符合我语气的方式？”——这一次，AI给出了更好的答案。
Alvin的结论很干脆：
AI永远不知道你的情绪和表达意图。你必须自己判断、二次核查，才能得到真正好用的答案。
当心！AI正在悄悄“杀死”你的独立思考？
AI能随手生成游戏攻略、设计方案，会不会让孩子的探索欲和抗挫力下降？
Frank的视角很犀利：“这完全取决于你如何使用AI。” 他提到，游戏设计师精心设计关卡，就是为了让玩家在挑战中获得成长。如果直接问AI“怎么过关”，那游戏最珍贵的部分就消失了。
你有批判性思维，AI不能替代这一点。因为只有你能判断：这个答案是对是错？我到底想怎么做？
被算法“投喂”的每一天，如何夺回思考主导权？
Alvin分享了两个很实用的步骤：
第一步，先问自己：我的目的是什么？我想从AI那里得到什么？
第二步，查来源。 AI给了一个答案后，他会去网上找到原始出处，看看这个总结是否可靠，再形成自己的判断。
简单说：不让AI替你想，而是让AI帮你更好地想。
AI无法替代的终极能力，到底是什么？
面对这个问题，教育专家Lee Alan Ma给出了一个意想不到的答案：
“我对‘AI无法替代什么’这件事，其实挺开放的。它能做的事情，可能比人们想象的要多得多。”
但有一点，他坚信AI很难取代——使命感。
“每个孩子都需要找到自己的‘使命’。它既包括动机，也包括把目标变成现实的能力。AI很难回答的问题是：这件事为什么重要？谁在乎我正在做的事情？”
给学校和家庭的建议：放下手机，做好“人”
当被问到“学校和家庭该如何保护孩子的人性温度”时，Lee的回答简单又扎心：
作为家长，你得自己先做到。 如果你不亲自示范什么是温暖的人，孩子根本学不会。
AI不会拿走父母的养育责任。如果你想让孩子成为某种人，请你先把手机放下，去做父母该做的事。 这意味着你要自己定义什么是‘人的温暖’，然后把它活出来给孩子看。
面对AI造假、换脸、假新闻，孩子怎么办？
Alvin的清醒让人印象深刻：
在这个时代，我们不能再完全相信自己的眼睛。唯一能做的，是核查来源、多方比对、去问真人。如果你只相信一个信源，然后把这个信息告诉别人——那会是一场灾难。
压轴问题：十年后，AI能做大部分技术工作，人还剩什么价值？
Alvin的回答掷地有声：
“人有而AI没有的，是批判性思维、创造力、情感和属于自己的思想。”
“如果你拥有这些能力，AI就是你的工具；如果你没有，AI就会替代你。”
Frank则补充了一个很妙的比喻：
“AI预测的是‘最合理’的选择，基于它学过的东西。它永远不会想出那些‘不那么常见’的路。 而人的成长，恰恰来自那些意外的尝试。”
最后，三位嘉宾给所有家庭的三条真诚建议
Lee Alan Ma：
学校的管理者和老师，请坐下来真正用一用AI工具——你不用，就根本不知道它能做什么。
多听听年轻人的声音。 他们是真正要活在未来的人。
Alvin：
· 学生要多跟不同年龄的人交流，因为每个人对AI的经验都不同，碰撞才能产生更完整的认知。
· 学校可以提供交流的场所和课程；家长要鼓励孩子提问、表达、独立。
· 当学生、老师、家长三方联合，孩子才能发展出独立的人格和批判性思维。
Frank：
· 让AI做“适合你水平”的事，而不是“超越你水平”的事。
· 老师应该知道孩子的真实水平和AI的“水平”，用AI帮孩子升级，而不是跳级。
· 家长也要了解：AI到底能对你的孩子做什么？你的孩子又有多大的能力去使用AI，
这场论坛没有给出“标准答案”，但每个分享的孩子都让我们看到：这一代年轻人，远比我们想象中清醒、有主见。
他们不是被AI“替代”的一代，而是学习与AI共舞的一代。而我们能做的，也许就是像Lee说的那样——放下手机，坐下来，好好听他们说。

Last weekend, in the middle of a buzzing School Expo hall, we pulled up three chairs, a microphone, and one big question: What happens to our kids when AI can do the homework, the strategy, and even the creativity?
No doomscrolling. No panic. Just a real conversation.
Our host, Bella Ji , sat down with education innovator Lee Alan Ma, Frank from Liaoyuan Bilingual School, and Alvin from Shanghai Concord Bilingual School. What came out surprised even us.
Lee Allen Mack
Lee Allen Mack is an education innovator based in Shanghai, dedicated to crafting high-impact learning experiences that prepare adolescents for the future. With a diverse background spanning STEM, media, and school leadership, he formerly served as a senior executive at two leading international schools. Combining strategic insight with a parent’s perspective, Lee brings a nuanced understanding of educational excellence. Alvin
Alvin is a Grade 10 student at Concordia School Shanghai Pudong, with a profound passion for technology and innovation. He actively tracks cutting-edge developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and is committed to exploring novel solutions and creative approaches to modern challenges.
Frank
Frank is a Grade 11 student at Shanghai Liaoyuan Bilingual School. Beyond his academic pursuits, Wenhao is a multi-faceted individual with a deep passion for piano, Ultimate Frisbee, and esports. His intellectual curiosity extends to Formula 1 racing and the history of technology. Notably, he delivered a TEDx talk at his school where he independently explored the complex relationship between students and gaming, demonstrating a capacity for critical thinking on contemporary social issues.
First, Let’s Talk About Memorization—Is It Dead?
Lee Alan Ma (former senior leader at two top international schools, and a bilingual school parent himself) didn't hesitate:
Everyone wants to get rid of rote learning. But that's a bad idea. Learning basic facts is a critical skill. The real question is not whether you memorize—it's what you learn and how you apply it.
So no, the fundamentals aren't going anywhere. But they're no longer enough.
Meet Frank: Piano, Zelda, and Knowing When Not to Ask AI
Frank brought his Nintendo Switch to the roundtable. That's the kind of kid he is.
AI can help you read piano scores faster. But your muscles remember how to play. AI doesn't do that for you.
And video games? He's put over a hundred hours into The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
AI can give you solutions to mazes and combat skills. But the solutions aren't always perfect. The important part is finding your own way to overcome the difficulty.
His takeaway: AI is a shortcut. But shortcuts don't build skill.
Meet Alvin: The Day AI Made His Essay Worse
Alvin uses Doubao and DeepSeek like any other digital-native teen. But he learned a hard lesson fast.
I asked AI to give me better words for my English essay. It gave me really fancy words. But after I put them in, the essay felt totally unnatural.
So he did something a lot of adults forget to do: he asked again.
Why is this unnatural? Can you give me words that sound like me?
This time, AI gave a better answer.
Alvin's rule: AI doesn't know your emotion or your voice. You double-check. You decide.
What AI Can't Replace (Even When It Tries)
When Bella asked Lee about the one thing AI will never replace, he gave an answer that stuck with everyone:
I'm open-minded about this—AI can do more than people want to imagine. But for the top kids I work with, it all comes down to one thing: mission.
He defines mission as motivation plus skill. The ability to answer: Why does this matter? Who cares what I'm doing?
"That's what AI will have a very hard time replacing."
Frank added a perfect analogy from F1 racing (he's a fan, and so is Bella):
Red Bull already uses Oracle's AI to calculate pit stops and tire changes. But the race manager still asks: When will Mercedes catch me? When do I change my plan? AI simulates. You decide.
The Algorithm Trap: How Alvin Stays in Control
Most teens get fed content. Alvin pushes back—in two steps.
Step 1: Draft my question first. What's my purpose? What do I actually want to know?
Step 2: Check the source. Where did this summary come from? Find the original. Compare.
"That's how I keep algorithms from thinking for me."
Fake Videos, Deepfakes, and Trusting Nothing You See
When Bella asked Alvin how teens can spot misinformation in the age of Sora and deepfakes, he didn't sugarcoat it.
"We can't trust anything with our eyes anymore. The only solution: check sources, double-check online, ask real people. One source is a disaster waiting to happen."
Schools Are Lagging (But Kids Aren't Waiting)
Lee was blunt about where schools stand today:
Teachers and school leaders don't have time to learn tools that change every day. But kids do have time and motivation. So right now, students are figuring it out on their own.
His advice to schools?
Sit down and actually use the tools. You can't guide what you don't understand.
And his advice to parents?
"Model being a warm human being. Put down your phone. Talk to your child when they act less than kind. AI doesn't take away parenting responsibility. You still have to do your job."
When Should You Not Use AI?
Lee raised a subtle point that most schools miss entirely:
No one is teaching primary or middle school kids how to use AI well. But the basic guidance is simple: try first by yourself. Hit a block? Then ask AI.
The hard part: how does a kid know they've actually hit a block?
"Is one failed attempt a block? Or should they push for five more minutes? Half an hour? Schools need to teach kids to look inside and say: I really don't know. I truly need help. That's the line."
The Final Question: Ten Years from Now, What Makes Us Human?
Alvin closed the roundtable with a clarity that stopped the room:
Human beings have critical thinking, creativity, emotions, and our own thoughts. AI doesn't. If you keep those abilities, AI is your tool. If you lose them, AI will replace you.
Frank echoed the same thought:
It's not about memorizing everything. It's about knowing what you're asking, knowing your own level, and using AI to help you upgrade—not skip ahead.
What All Three Agreed On
· Schools need to stop guessing and start using the tools themselves.
· Parents need to listen. Really listen. And model the humanity they want to see.
· Students need to speak up, question everything, and never outsource their thinking.
As Frank put it:
AI doesn't know you. You know AI. But that's not the same thing.
