AI Short Film The Sea of Shadows
2025 年 12 月,我参与北京电影学院第四期 AI 高研班,系统学习并完整走完了 AI 视频创作的全部流程。从最初摸索试错,到独立完成完整短片作品,我对 AI 影视创作有了更加客观、清晰且落地的认知。
In December 2025, I joined the 4th Advanced AI Training Program at Beijing Film Academy, where I systematically studied and completed the entire process of AI video creation. From initial exploration and trial-and-error to independently finishing a complete short film, I have gained a more objective, clear, and practical understanding of AI film and television creation.


01 创作初期:灵感难产,从生活找到突破口
01 Initial Creation: Struggling for Inspiration, Finding a Breakthrough in Life
本次短片创作初期,我一度陷入创作瓶颈。最开始构思作品时,我过于执着完整、复杂的故事主线,总想依靠强剧情支撑整片,反而导致想法杂乱、主题迟迟无法确定,创作进度一度停滞不前。直到一次夜晚出行,我忽然联想到一位小朋友,她害怕黑夜,却又会在黑暗中生出无数天马行空、纯粹又可爱的想象。基于这份感受,我最终确定了短片的创作内核:以孩童视角,诠释对黑暗的胆怯与遐想。作品不再追求复杂情节,而是弱化叙事、强化氛围,用充满想象力的画面,还原孩子眼中温柔、梦幻、充满奇思妙想的黑夜世界。
At the beginning of creating this short film, I once fell into a creative bottleneck. When I first conceived the work, I was too obsessed with a complete and complex main storyline, always wanting to support the whole film with a strong plot. Instead, it led to messy ideas, an undetermined theme, and a stalled creative progress. Until one night when I went out, I suddenly thought of a little girl who is afraid of the dark, yet generates countless unrestrained, pure and lovely imaginations in the darkness. Based on this feeling, I finally determined the creative core of the short film: to interpret the fear and reverie of darkness from a child's perspective. The work no longer pursues complex plots, but weakens narration and strengthens the atmosphere. It uses imaginative images to restore the gentle, dreamy and whimsical night world in children's eyes.


02 画面制作:AI 高效出素材,人工才是质感关键
02 Visual Production: AI Generates Materials Efficiently, Manual Work Is the Key to Texture
主题确定后,我正式进入画面制作阶段。为了把抽象的创作想法落地为具体画面,我通过精准的 AI 提示词,批量生成贴合短片氛围的画面描述与基础视觉素材,快速搭建起整部短片的画面基调,极大提升了前期创作效率。但在实操过程中,AI 自动生成的画面经常出现画风割裂、色调质感不一致、构图偏离预期等问题,有的画面无法直接成片。针对这些问题,我在 AI 素材的基础上,使用 PS 对部分画面进行手绘微调、细节修正与质感统一,让整体画面风格更加统一、更贴合主题。
After the theme was confirmed, I officially entered the visual production stage. To turn abstract creative ideas into concrete images, I used precise AI prompts to generate image descriptions and basic visual materials that fit the short film's atmosphere in batches, quickly establishing the visual tone of the whole film and greatly improving the efficiency of pre-production. However, in practical operation, AI-generated images often suffer from inconsistent art styles, mismatched tones and textures, and off-target compositions, making some images unusable directly. To solve these problems, based on AI materials, I used Photoshop to manually fine-tune, correct details and unify textures for some images, making the overall visual style more consistent and in line with the theme.


03 分镜与成片阶段:反复试错,摸索流畅创作逻辑
03 Storyboarding and Final Editing: Repeated Trial and Error to Explore Smooth Creative Logic
在初期制作时,每个镜头仅单帧生成,画面变化过少,直接导致镜头僵硬、动态不足、画面运动感弱,整体转场生硬,成片预览效果非常不理想。于是在原有场景的基础上,临时增加画面变化、镜头动态、场景微变动素材,储备充足的备选画面支撑镜头运动。同时手动调整画面顺序、镜头时长与运动节奏,一点点打磨流畅度。经过多轮试错、删减、调整,最终让整部短片的镜头衔接自然、画面节奏稳定,完成了完整成片输出。
In the initial production, each shot was generated as a single frame with too few changes, directly resulting in stiff shots, insufficient dynamics, weak motion sense, blunt transitions, and a very unsatisfactory preview effect. Therefore, on the basis of the original scenes, I temporarily added materials for image changes, shot dynamics and slight scene adjustments, reserving sufficient alternative images to support shot motion. At the same time, I manually adjusted the image order, shot duration and motion rhythm, polishing the smoothness little by little. After multiple rounds of trial and error, deletion and adjustment, the shots of the whole short film were finally connected naturally with a stable visual rhythm, and the complete final version was output.


04 真正的核心,永远是人
04 The Real Core Is Always the Creator
从画面风格混乱、镜头卡顿生硬,到整体完整、氛围统一的最终成片,整个创作试错的过程,是我本次北电 AI 高研班最大的收获。技术可以更新迭代、工具可以提高效率,但作品的创意、审美、情绪表达、镜头逻辑和整体把控,永远来自创作者本身的思考与导演思维。未来,我也会继续深耕 AI 影视创作,以技术为辅助、以思维为内核,踏实打磨每一次作品,在新技术与传统创作的结合中,持续探索更多创作可能。
From messy visual styles and stiff shots to a complete and unified final work, the whole process of creative trial and error is my biggest gain from the Advanced AI Training Program at Beijing Film Academy. Technology can be updated and iterated, and tools can improve efficiency, but the creativity, aesthetics, emotional expression, shot logic and overall control of a work always come from the creator's own thinking and directing mindset. In the future, I will continue to deepen my research in AI film creation, taking technology as assistance and thinking as the core, polishing every work steadily, and continuously exploring more creative possibilities in the integration of new technology and traditional creation.
