夜雨聆风Today is Friday, 14 August 2026. It was pouring with rain.
I got a WeChat message from Director-General, telling us to tidy the office in preparation for an inspection by county-level leaders. So I told everyone in my office to take charge of different cleaning tasks. We mopped the floors, wiped down the desks, and carried the cardboard boxes upstairs. We finished all the cleaning work in thirty minutes. Yet the leaders never showed up. We waited for the whole afternoon, but they still did not come.
