withtheInternetofThings(IoT),makingsmartdevicesmorepowerful.Unliketraditional
IoTsystems,whichsenddatatoremoteserversforprocessing,AIoTsystemsanalyze(2r)
dataimmediatelyatthelocallevel,allowingthemtomakequickdecisionsandimprove
efficiency(st).AIoThasbeenwidelyusedinareas,suchassmarthomesecurityandhealthcare.
Recently,ateamofresearchers,ledbyProfessorGwanggilJeonfromtheCollegeof
InformationTechnologyatIncheonNationalUniversity,SouthKorea,hascomeupwitha
newAIoTsystemcalledmultiplespectrogramfusionnetwork(MSFNet)forWiFibased
humanactivityrecognition.
Prof.Jeonexplainsthereasonfortheirresearch,“AsatypicalAIoTapplication,WiFibased
humanactivityrecognitionisbecomingincreasinglypopularinsmarthomes.However,WiFibased
recognitionoftendoesnthavegoodperformanceasexpectedduetoenvironmentalinterference.
Ourgoalistosolvethisproblem.”
Inthisview,theresearchersdevelopedthenewdeeplearningsystemMSFNet,which
achievescoarseaswellasfineactivityrecognitionviachannelstateinformation.Experiments
showedthatMSFNetachievedhighrecognitionefficiency,withremarkablescoresof91.82%,
69.76%,85.91%,and75.66%ondifferentdatasets.Thesevalueshighlightthebetterperformance
ofMSFNetcomparedtoexistingmethods,makingitabreakthroughinWiFibasedactivity
recognition.
“Thetechniquehassignificantlyimprovedefficiency,increasingthepossibilityofpractical
applications.Thisresearchcanbeusedinvariousfields,suchassmarthomesandcareforthe
