Which test? If you know what test publisher is being used that will
help focus your practice. Here is how you should focus your
attention.
SHL: They don't use what is generally referred to as logical
reasoning tests. Instead head over to our section called
inductive reasoning. By all means feel free to try these
logical tests though as the pattern recognition practice will
still help.
Kenexa: Confusingly, the tests Kenexa call 'logical reasoning'
are like the tests SHL call 'inductive reasoning' The
difference is purely in the name, so head over to our inductive
reasoning section to see practice questions which are suitable
for practising Kenexa's logical reasoning tests.
Ravens Progressive Matricies: You should work through all of
our practice logical tests as the first eight tests cover the
matrix style questions and the last three tests cover the
missing box style questions.
Talent Q: Focus on our practice logical tests 1 to 8. The
remaining tests (9, 10 and 11) are mostly for practising the
Ravens test (see above).
