基础篇
（一）句子仿写。
1. hear from sb.收到某人的信件（或电子邮件、电话等）
【例句】 I often hear from my mother.我经常收到我妈妈的来信
【扩展】receive / get a letter from sb.=receive / get one‘s letter收到某人的来信
【仿写】(汉译英)
（1） 非常高兴收到你的来信。
【答案】I’m so happy / glad to hear from you.
（2）期盼收到你的来信。
【答案】I look forward to hearing from you
2. My dream is to be … / I want to be … 我的梦想是成为……
【例句】My dream is to be a dancer in the future / I want to be a dancer in the future.我的梦想是将来成为一名

Dear Tom,
I am happy to hear from you. You said you wanted to make friends with me. I’d like to, too.
Now let me introduce myself. My name is Linda. I'm a girl of 13 and I am 155cm tall. I have long black hair
with big eyes and I wear a pair of glasses. I like reading very much and I read half an hour every day. I likedrawing, too.
My father is a computer engineer and my mother is a doctor. They are strict with me in my study. We always
go for a walk after supper. We love each other.
I study in a middle school in Beijing. My favourite
subject is English. After school, I usually do sports
with my classmates. My favourite sport is table tennis.
My dream is to be an artist, because I am good at drawing.
I think we will be good friends from now on.
I hope to receive your letter soon.
