2. 让学生默读Grammar Focus 表格中的例句，如有可能，教师可以提供更多的例句供学
生观察并总结if 条件句的特点。教师可以列出以下要点，供学生观察和归纳。
1）if所在的句子（从句）用的是什么时态？
2）另一句（主句）用的是什么时态？
得出结论：“主将从现”

1）让学生独立完成3a，教师提醒学生找出每个句子的if条件状语，由条件状语来判断时态。
2）请1名同学说出答案，全班核对答案。

探究1 表达观点的句型：
“sb. think/ thinks + 宾语从句”。例如：I think I’m going to stay at home. 我想我将呆在家里。此
句型变否定句，必须否定前移。

(1) 句中的half为形容词，意为“半数的”，可以修饰名词，直接放在所修饰名词之前。half 也
可以作名词，意为“一半；半”，常用结构为“half of + 名词”，当此结构作主语时，谓语动词
要与名词的单复数形式保持一致。
例如： Half of the boys go to the movies on Sundays. 一半的男孩在星期天去看电影。
(2) class在句中为集合名词，指“全班的人”，强调组成班级的多个成员，谓语动词用复数形
式，此类的单词还有family, school 等。如： The family are from China. 这家人来自中国。

what to do是由疑问词加不定式构成的宾语。疑问词what，which，whom或疑问副词how，
when，where可加一个不定式构成不定式短语，在句中作宾语，通常放在tell，show，teach，
learn，know，wonder，forget，find out等动词或动词短语的后面，并可以改写成宾语从句。
例如：Can you tell me what to do next?你能告诉我下一步做什么吗？
