Last Sunday,I made a special dinner for my mom.It didn’t work as well as I thought.I hurt
my fingers while cutting food,and I forgot to put salt into the dishes.When my mother came back
home,she was so happy that she hugged me and kissed me.
From this experience,I’ve learned doing housework can not only help me grow up but also
bring happiness to my family.

Life is full of love.I still remember one thing that touches me a lot.
It was a rainy day.I failed my math exam and I felt very upset.What’s worse,I didn’t bring my
umbrella.I felt even more worried.Suddenly,the raindrops disappeared. To my surprise,I saw a big umbrella
and the smiling face of my classmate.He said that an exam couldn’t stand for everything.He believes I
can get good grades next time.I knew he cared me.And his words really cheered me up.It made me
happy.After that ,I worked harder and made great progress.

I love reading very much.It makes me happy.I think reading can not only help me get knowledge
but also open my mind.More importantly,reading bring me happiness.
First,there are many stories in books.Some of them are interesting.Some of them are educational.I
always lose myself in books and have learned a lot from as well.Second,reading books helps me a lot in
my studies.Books are really useful when I meet difficulties.They make me skillful at solving problems.
All in all,books have become a good friend of mine.It’s a part of my life. A good book is like a
good friend.So,do more reading,and become happier.
