一，话题分析：
本单元的话题是“描述物品”，属于说明文的范畴，是说明文里的事物类说明文。重点考察被动语态
用法。围绕这一话题介绍一些产品或物品的材质，产地，用途，甚至制作过程，以及对于自己的评价及感
受。在中考题目中，有时会向国际友人介绍中国传统技艺的制作过程，弘扬中国传统文化，践行社会主义
核心价值观和人文观。重点考查学生以下能力：

1.总分总结构。短文通常分为三个部分：

2.人称：第三人称。
3.时态：一般现在时。

In China it is seen as a symbol of happiness and good luck. We can give it to friends as a gift or
hang it in our houses.It has become popular in China and all over the world.

My favorite book
Good books are valuable treasures.Among all the books I’ve read,the novel called The Old Man and the
Sea is my favorite.It was written by an American writer. It tells about a fisherman who is lucky enough
to catch a huge fish,but he finds it hard to take it home. On his way back home,he has to fight against
the fish and the sea.
I like the book best because it is such a meaningful story that I can learn a lot from it. The fisherman
is brave and he never gives up when he is in trouble.I also learn that nothing seems terrible as long as
we have a strong will and a brave heart.

Among all my clothes,I like one of the T-shirts best.
It’s white.It’s made of cotton and fiber,so it’s very comfortable.I like it best because there is a photo
of my best friend and me on it. It’s a special gift from him.He sent it to me last year for my 14th
birthday.I often wear it when I have parties with friends. It makes me remember the time we two spend
together. I hope it can bring me good luck.
