5万亿超级工程曝光!中国推进AI数据中心建设,电网与之深度融合 China Plans $295 Billion Nationwide Data Center Expansion

China is considering a massive nationwide expansion of its artificial intelligence infrastructure.

中国正计划在全国范围内大规模扩展其人工智能基础设施。

China is preparing to spend around 2 trillion yuan over the next five years on building data centers across the country to support its domestic AI sector, Bloomberg reported. Additionally, China also plans to integrate the power grid with the project, which could drive total projected investment to at least 5 trillion yuan.

6月9日，据彭博社报道，中国准备在未来五年内斥资约2万亿元在全国范围内建设数据中心，以支持国内人工智能行业。此外，中国据悉还计划将电网与该项目整合，预计会使总投资至少达到5万亿元。

Key government agencies, including the National Development and Reform Commission, are drafting a blueprint for a nationwide network of interconnected computing hubs. State-owned telecom operators are expected to play a central role in operating and linking the facilities.

报道称，包括国家发改委在内的主要政府部门正在规划，拟建立一张覆盖全国的算力网。国有电信运营商预计将在运营和连接这些设施方面发挥核心作用。

The project will be funded mainly through sovereign debt, including ultra-long-term special government bonds with maturities of more than 10 years, alongside state strategic investment funds. It forms part of China’s “Six Networks” program and aligns with the country’s latest five-year plan.

该项目资金来源主要是主权债务，包括超长期特别国债（期限通常超过10年）以及投资战略性产业的国家级基金。它是中国“六网”计划的一部分，并与中国最新的五年计划相一致。

The integration of large-scale computing infrastructure with the power system is expected to drive additional investment in transmission networks, substations, energy storage and other supporting infrastructure.
