从句：While regular exercise is beneficial to our health（让步状语从句，While = Although）
主干：many students still prefer to sit all day（很多学生还是喜欢整天坐着）
逻辑：虽然…… 但是……（while 和 but 不能连用，这里只用 while）

状语从句连词 "秒判" 三步法
第一步：找逻辑关系（判断前后句逻辑）
让步：although /though/while /even though — 本题第 1 空：虽运动有益，但学生久坐 → While条件：if /unless/as long as /once — 本题第 3 空：如果想克服挑战 → If时间：when /while/as /after/before /until — 本题第 4 空：只有坚持之后才能 → after原因：because /since/as /now that — 本题未出现，但常考
补充：若前后两句地位平等、各自都能独立成句，则考虑并列连词（and /but/or /so），不属于状语从句。
第二步：高频易混连词辨析
while vs. when（时间状语从句）while 引导的从句必须用延续性动词，常用进行时，表 "在…… 期间"；when 引导的从句可用延续性或终止性动词，可指时间点也可指时间段。考点：如果从句动词是终止性动词（如 come, arrive, ring），只能用 when，不能用 while。例：When he arrived, we were eating.（arrive 是终止性动词，只能用 when）/ While we were eating, he arrived.（eat 是延续性动词，可用 while）
if vs. unless（条件状语从句）if = 如果（肯定条件）；unless = 如果不 / 除非（否定条件，= if...not）。考点：unless 引导的从句，主句通常是否定句或含否定意义。例：If you work hard, you'll succeed. / Unless you work hard, you won't succeed.
although vs. though vs. even though（让步状语从句）although 较正式，放句首或句中均可；though 较口语化，还可放句末表 "不过"；even though 语气最强，表 "即使"，强调假设性。考点：三者都不与 but 连用；如果空格前有 even，只能填 though 构成 even though。例：Although/Though it rained, we went out. / Even though it rains, we will go out.
第三步：验证 "特殊句式" 规则
Only + 状语从句放句首 → 主句部分倒装（本题第 4 空）
although /while 不与 but 连用（但可与 yet /still 连用）
unless 所在从句用一般现在时表将来（主句用将来时）
