Dear Jack,
I’m sorry to know that you’re having difficulty falling asleep. What’s worse, this kind of
symptom has affected your normal study and life after the mid-term exam this semester.
The truth is that everyone will have one of those periods when things seem to be going
wrong, so you don’t have to worry so much. Here are three useful tips: First, talk to someone you
trust about how you feel. This is a good way of letting your stress out without hurting yourself.
Second, go outdoors and play games with your friends as physical exercise is an effective way to
have good sleep. And third, remain optimistic about your future.
I hope you’ll soon feel calmer and carry on as normal.
Yours,
Li Hua
第二节(满分20分)
Within minutes, responses started flooding in. Some people offered words of encouragement,
telling me to stay strong and that everything would be okay. Others shared their own experiences
of being stuck in similar situations and how they managed to get through it. A few even suggested
practical solutions, like staying in the car and waiting for the snow to stop or trying to find a
nearby shelter. I felt a sense of warmth and hope amidst the cold and darkness.
Then I saw a big figure in the dark. As the figure approached, I realized it was a man wearinga thick coat and carrying a shovel. He introduced himself as a neighbor who lived nearby and had
seen my post. Without hesitation, he started clearing the snow around my car and helping me push
it out of the snowdrift. With his help, I was finally able to get back on the road and drive home
safely. I was extremely grateful for his kindness and the support I received from the online
community.
