Dear Mary,
Learning that there will be a Ski Training Camp this winter vacation, I’m writing to invite
you to go with me. Here is some related information.
This camp will open on January 15th and has classes in Changping district, Beijing on a
daily basis. The reason why I choose this camp is that the coaches will offer professional
instructions about skiing. Moreover, the camp has advanced skiing equipment which attracts me
a lot. If you are interested, let me know soon, so we can sign up ahead of schedule.
Looking forward to meeting you at the training camp.
Yours,
Li Hua
Possible version
At 11:10 am the doorbell rang and my mother stood outside the door smiling,
accompanied by a young woman. I hugged my mother tightly and affectionately. Enormously
relieved, the young woman told me that my mother had lost her way while returning home after
the morning walk. The only description she could provide was that my house was near the park
and that the house was made of red bricks. With much effort, and after almost two hours’
searching, the young woman was able to locate my house. She expressed great relief at getting
my mother home.
After knowing what had happened, I showed my appreciation of the young woman’s
kindness. I felt warmth in the cold winter, and believed there was kindness in every corner. I
invited her inside to join us for a cup of tea. The woman refused politely and said sincerely that
she felt so delighted to have brought my mother safely home to me that she did not require
further thanks. Then she drove the car away without even sharing her name and I have not seen
her again. This kind act has a lasting influence on me. I always give others a helping hand if
possible, even so many years later.
A篇

many farm animal shows”可知,本题答案为 D。
根据 Tickets and Pricing部分“Family pass(2 adults &up to 3
根据“Note:All children must be accompanied by an adult.”
A项“invalid wristband of his
24. B细节题。根据原文第一段,“They ran into me, but I said sorry.”
根据原文第三段,“I apologize to escape conflict.”
根据原文,“This pattern is especially prevalent in women.”
根据最后一段,“Deeds speak louder than words. So start making changes
Researchers recently discovered that food may
actually become more attractive to gulls when the birds observe humans handling it first可
根据文章最后一段第二句“Gulls have a bad reputation but, like all animals,
they are just trying to survive,ˮ Goumas said.
The study does show eating later results in “an increase in
hunger, impacts hormones and also changes gene expression, especially in terms of fat
metabolism with a tendency towards less fat breakdown and more fat deposition,”我们可以
The study was small — only 16 overweight or obese people我们得知此实验规
All participants were in good health, with no history of diabetes
or shift work and had regular physical activity.
Participants were then divided into two groups randomly.
One group ate calorie-controlled meals at 8 am, noon and 4 pm, while the other ate the
same meals four hours later…
We all know that eating later in the day isn’t good for our
waistlines, but why? Results showed that hunger pangs doubled for those on a
night-eating regime(规则). People who ate later in the day also reported a desire for salty
foods, meat and, to a lesser extent, a desire for dairy foods and vegetables.

W: Well, thank you for listening to our radio program tonight. Now let’s share some messages
we received.
First, I must start by saying a big “thank you” to Tony Smith. He did a great job to
improve our program last week while I was away. Thanks, Tony. And thanks for all the
messages asking about my holiday. I had a long flight home late last night, but I must say I had
a wonderful time. The food was delicious and the locals we spoke to were really friendly.
Shame about the weather, which was disappointing, but I couldn’t have everything I
supposed. And my kids enjoyed the trip, so everyone was happy.
Here is another message. ⑲And it’s John Miller from Leicester. He wrote, “I listen to the
program every night. As the program ends, many questions go unanswered. Why don’t
you offer some kind of online program where you can continue answering listeners’
questions?” I think that’s a good idea. We’ll certainly think about it carefully. ⑳Well, now it’s
time for music and I hope you will enjoy it.
