Step 1 Review and Lead - in (5 minutes)

Randomly select students and ask some basic questions about "if" - clauses, such as

Step 2 Grammar Explanation (10 minutes)
Present the sentences in Grammar Focus. Guide the students to observe the structures
of "if" - clauses and summarize their formation rules. Explain the tense - matching

is in the simple future tense, the subordinate clause should use the simple present
tense to express the future; when the main clause contains modal verbs (such as can,
may, must, etc.) or imperative sentences, the subordinate clause also uses the simple
present tense. Explain in detail through example sentences, such as "If it rains
tomorrow, we will stay at home.", "If you can come, please let me know.", "If you see
him, tell him to call me."
