祈使句的运用
祈使句是表示命令、请求别人做某事或征求对方意见的句子。祈使句的主
语一般是you , 在句中you 通常省去，也就是说，祈使句很大一部分直
接用动词原形开头。
eg: Come to school earlier next time.
Li Ping , answer the questions , please.
祈使句在运用中，常可在句首或句尾加上“please” , please 意思为“请”，
放在句尾时一般用“，”与前面的句子隔开。祈使句通常又可分为下面几
种类型：
1. 肯定祈使句，一般将动词原形放在句子开头。
eg: Stand up , please Be more careful next time.
2. 否定祈使句，一般在肯定祈使句前加上don’t 构成， 表示“不要-------”
之意。
eg: Lucy , don’t watch TV any more. Please don’t do it like
that.
有些用No 开头，用来表示“禁止”的祈使句。
eg: No smoking ! 禁止吸烟！ No fishing ! 禁止钓鱼！3. 以“let” 开头的祈使句，let 意思为“让”， 一般句子结构为
“let sb. do sth. ”。 否定形式为“let sb. not do sth.”。
eg: Let him not go out . 别让他出去。
Let your father come to visit me this afternoon.
4. 有些表示疑问的句子，含有使某人做某事之意，相当于一个祈使句的作
用。eg: Why don’t you stand up? 你为什么不站起来？
相当于“Please stand up.”
即“Why don’t you do sth.? 相当于“Please do sth.”
Why not hand in your homework at once? 为什么不马上交作业？
即“Why not do sth.?”也相当于“Please do sth.”
