There are many kinds of work. People do different things in their work. We talked to three young people about their careers (职业). Read about them.
Jane, 22: I’m a travel agent (代理人). I plan vacations for different kinds of people. I need to buy plane tickets, book hotel rooms and make travel plans. I pay attention to the needs of my customers and help solve their travel problems. I really like the working hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm every day. And I can buy plane tickets at very low prices.
Grace, 24: I sell electronics (电子产品) in a store. I help people make decisions about choosing and buying electronics. I need to know clearly about the information of each product in our store. I’m a fan of technology, so I think it’s always interesting to learn about new electronics. Sometimes I have to work late at night, but I still enjoy my work. And they pay me very well.
Mike, 25: I’m a website designer (设计师). I make websites for different companies. To make a website for a company, I learn about the company and its needs first. I write down some ideas. After that, I talk to people at the company again to improve my design. Then I complete the website. I like to create new things. I feel so happy when I see the results of my work. Also, I work on my computer at home. This means I can decide my own working hours and have more time with my family.
一、阅读理解到底考什么?
天津中考三篇阅读,A 是记叙文(小故事)、B/C 多为说明文 / 科普 / 介绍类。无论哪种,小题几乎都是细节题
本质是“找得到、比得准”。阅读 C 这类“多人物 / 多步骤”说明文,还常考排序题和归纳题(如本篇 38、39 题)。
二、通用四步法
1读题干圈关键词:先读 5 道题,圈出人名(Jane / Grace / Mike)、what / order / mainly。
2回文定位:多人 / 多段文章,按人名直接跳到对应段落;顺序题盯连接词。
3比对选项找同义改写:正确答案常是原文同义替换,少见照抄。
4排除干扰项:张冠李戴(把 A 的事安到 B)、以偏概全、无中生有的划掉。
三、高频题型(认题型 = 半只脚进门)
① 细节查找题:what / who,直接回原文找原词(如本篇 36、37 题)。
② 排序 / 流程题:盯 first / after that / then 等连接词,按动作先后排(如 38 题)。
③ 归纳 / 推理题:看到 all / both / we can learn,必须找“所有人都满足”的点(如 39 题)。
④ 词义猜测题:上下文逻辑推理(阅读 B 的 dimmer 即此法)。
⑤ 主旨 / 出处题:抓首尾段与整体(如 40 题 learn about different work)。
四、三大坑(阅读 C 最常栽)
坑1 张冠李戴:把 A 人物的动作安到 B 头上。如 36/37/39 题,sell electronics、create technology 只属于单人,不能当“三人都”。
坑2 以偏概全:用某一个人 / 一个细节当主旨。如 40 题看到 Mike“在家工作”就选 decide working hours,但文章讲“不同工作”整体。
坑3 顺序颠倒:流程题把第一步放错。如 38 题把“写想法 a”排到“了解公司 c”前,而原文 first 永远是 c。

【易错坑】A(工作到深夜)是“有时不得不”不是“有趣”;C(陪家人)是 Mike 的;D(解决旅行问题)是 Jane 的。注意 always interesting 直接对应原文短语,别被其他人物信息带跑。
【口诀】always interesting → learn about new electronics(新电子产品)。

【易错坑】顺序题紧盯连接词 first / After that / Then;易把 a 和 c 颠倒(a-b-c-d、a-c-d-b 都错在把“写想法”放最前)。第一步永远是 learn about the company(c)。
【口诀】first c → then a → again d → complete b = c-a-d-b。
