谈论天气 theheat is unbearable,强调有了华盛顿的 museums and restaurants,
I’ll behappy here nomatterwhat the temperature.
I’m learning a lot of new things, but I wish the director would give
me some feedback.
Can you help me work
out a physical training program, John? Sure, but
whatever you dobe careful not to overdo it.
Last time I had two weeks’ worth of
weight-lifting in three days and I hurt myself.
I have an elderly mother
I’m worried about her going onaplane. Is there any risk?
Not ifherheart is
If she has a heart condition, I’d recommend against it.
Whydidn’tyou stop when we first signaled you at the crossroads?
Sorry, I was just a bit
absent-minded.Anyway,doI have to pay a fine?
第一个人说,I’m no expert 我不是专家 but that noise in your refrigerator
doesn’t sound right. Maybe you should have it fixed.
第二个人开腔了,You’re right.
And I suppose I’ve put it off long enough.
I did extremely well on the sale of my downtown
apartment. Now, I have enough money to buy that
piece of land I’ve had my eye onand builda house onit.
Congratulations!Does that
mean you’llbe movingsoon?
My hand stillhurts
from the fall on the ice yesterday. I wonder if I broke something.
(Iwonder if这个句型好,走过路过不要错过,Iwonder ifIcould get married
I’m nodoctor, but it’s not black and blueor anything.
Maybe you just need to rest it for afew days.
19.What dowelearn about thewoman?
答案:D)Shewas awitness tothecrime.
robbed the bank)。
20.What didthe suspect look like?
答案:A)Atallman with dark hairand amoustache.
The man was tall, six foot, and he had dark hair, and he had
21.What didthe man finallyasked thewoman to do?
答案:A)Identify thesuspect from pictures.
22.Howdid thewoman get toknow about thejobvacancy?
答案:A)By reading anewspaper ad.
calling about the job that was in the paper last night.
位信息的来源是thepaper last night,对应A 选项。
23.Whydid thewoman find thejobappealing?
答案:B) Shecould work close to herfamily.
24.What had thewoman been doing in Geneva?
答案:C)Workingas asecretary.
secretary。
而非选项D中的adegree in French.
25.What was thewoman asked to doin theend?
答案:C)Send ina written application as soon as possible.
话中关键信息包括:been working in Geneva, secretarial work, degree in English, be
淘宝店铺:https://shop499712503.taobao.com/ 店主旺旺:慧园文化near to thefamily,applications in writing 等。
French
用secretary 替换了 secretarial work。
Section B
PassageOne
“because they think they have seen a monster” “To prevent such tragedies, fire
fighter Eric Velez gives talks to children in his community, explaining that they
should never hide during a fire.” “But it’s a fact that informative speaking saves lives.”
“Pete Gentry in North Carolina rescued his brother who is choking on food,” “In
additionto saving lives,”
frightened by smoke and noise ;EricVelez learnt Spanish from his immigrant parents
26.D)They mistakethefirefighters for monsters.
解析:细节题,从开始when children catch a glimpseof the masked fire fighter
but hide because they think they have seen a monster
27.B) Heoften teaches children what to doduring afire.
选项 A,put out fire 虽然是 EricVelez 的
28.A) Hesaved thelife ofhis brotherchoking onfood.
Pete Gentry in North Carolina rescued his brother who is
所以选A。
29.D)Informativespeeches can savelives.
PassageTwo
本篇听力讲述的是截然不同的两种生活态度,一种是“make and save a lot of
money in order to retire early”,另一种则是“live only for today”,作者在陈述两种
不同态度之后,针对两种态度给出了自己的看法“it's better to pick the spend-all
approach”。
At the other extreme are people who live only for today. Why bother saving… ”
30.C)Tomake money forearly retirement.
31.A)They may have tocontinue towork inold age.
The earlier
neglect of saving, however, makes it difficult not to work when you are older.”
32.B) Enjoying yourself whileyou can.
Postponing doing what you love and
being with people you love until retirement can be a mistake.”
PassageThree
淘宝店铺:https://shop499712503.taobao.com/ 店主旺旺:慧园文化第一段通过开篇点题引出本文话题,“以偏概全”着实有失公平;
Anew sign in the
windowtoldthe story.“No morethan two students at a time”;
33.C)Innocent peoplebeingsuspected groundlessly。
34.D)Allowingonly two students to enter at atime。
Anewsign in the
windowtoldthe story.”
而这个sign 的内容就是紧随其后的“Nomore than two studentsat atime”.
35.B) Hewas closely watched.

friends and relatives all thetime-- ortalking to them in writingin onlinechat rooms.
It ischeaper than calling long distance, and a lotmore convenient than waiting until
Sunday forthe telephonerates to drop. Students are e-mailing theirprofessors to
receiveand discuss theirclassroom assignments and to submitthem. They are
e-mailing classmates todiscuss and collaborate onhomework. They are also sharing
information about concerts and sportsevents, as well as jokes and theirphilosophies
oflife。
Despite the growing importance of computers, however, there will always be a
place and need for the personal letter. A hand-written note to a friend or a family
member is the best way to communicate important thoughts. No matter what the
content of the message, its real point is, "I want you to know that I care about you."
This writing practice brings rewards that can’t be seen in bank accounts, but only in
thesuccess ofhuman relationships.
