How to be a Better Student
Dear friends:
As the double reduction policy came out, how to be a better student become more and more necessary
for us. Besides working hard at school, we should also do some other things to make us better.
I think we should arrange our spare time reasonably. There are lots of things we can do, wasting time is
not good for us. Meanwhile, we'd better develop some new hobbies, such as collecting stamps or drawing
pictures. As for me, I like drawing very much, now I have enough time to draw pictures every Sunday
afternoon, it makes me so happy that I can study much better the following Monday. Not only a strong body
but also a clever mind is necessary in the future, so why don't we do more sports to keep healthy and read
more to widen our scope of knowledge. They certainly can help us be better too.

Last Friday, I interviewed some parents and students about their ideas on celebrating Christmas Day. Here
are the results. Most students think it is very popular to have a party and send gifts on Christmas Day. And
it's a good chance to share happy moments with friends and make more friends as well. However,mostparents believe it's not good to celebrate Christmas Day. It wastes time and money doing that. Meanwhile, it
will get in the way of their study if students spend too much time on it.
In my opinion, we shouldn't celebrate it. Christmas has nothing to do with Chinese. There are many
traditional festivals in China. We'd better celebrate them to admire our own culture.

Great Changes in My Growth
As time goes by, I am not the little kid any more. I am quite different from what I used to be.
In the past, I used to stay up late to play computer games every day. As a result, I was very short and
thin. What was worse, I couldn’t listen to the teachers well in class the next day. I did so badly in
schoolwork that I always made my parents angry.
However, I have changed a lot now. I don’t stay up late any more. Instead, I exercise as often as
possible and I am stronger and healthier than before. Besides, I am good at schoolwork now with the help of

I should say that the mobile phones have really changed our lives. First, it's more convenient to

This activity is aimed at improving students' practice skills and developing team spirit. Students make
