Step 1
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Miss Fan.
T: Let’s play a bomb game. OK?
Ss: OK!
设计意图：玩炸弹游戏，复习第二单元学习的节日和动词词组，为本节课的顺利开展做好准
备。
T: New Year’s Day is coming. What would you like to do on New Year’s Day?
S: I’d like to …设计意图：复习句子，为进入下一个环节坐下铺垫。
T: What would Binbin and Joy like to do on New Year’s Day? Let’s have a look.
Step 2 Use the sentence you learn in the context and make conversations with your friends.
Step 3 Read the text and tell the main idea of the text in the students' own words.
1. Let the students speak in front of the class.
2. Encourage them not to be shy when they stand there.
3. Give the students chances to speak loudly in front of the class.
Step 4 Encourage the students to ask more questions about this part.
1. Divide the class into groups of three or four to finish the task.
2. Ask all of the students to take part in the discussion.
Step 5 Homework
1. Finish off the exercises in the textbook.
2. Go on the next reading in the student book.
