Teaching Procedure:
Step 1
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Miss Fan.
T: Look at these beautiful pictures. Where is it? (点击课件，出现三亚风景图片)
Ss: Sanya.
T: Great! Is it a beautiful place?
Ss: Yes.
T: Did you go to Sanya?
Ss: Yes. / No.T: When did you go Sanya?
S: I went there …
T: XX went to Sanya. Our friend——Bill went to Sanya, too. What did Bill do there? Let’s have a
look.
设计意图：开门见山，直入正题。
Step 2 Use the sentence you learn in the context and make conversations with your friends.
Step 3 Read the text and tell the main idea of the text in the students' own words.
1. Let the students speak in front of the class.
2. Encourage them not to be shy when they stand there.
3. Give the students chances to speak loudly in front of the class.
Step 4 Encourage the students to ask more questions about this part.
1. Divide the class into groups of three or four to finish the task.
2. Ask all of the students to take part in the discussion.

1. Finish off the exercises in the textbook.
2. Go on the next reading in the student book.
