紧挨着上篇探访的召公岛，便是三河广场。本地所说的三河特指黄河、苍龙涧河、青龙涧河，两条山涧自南山深处蜿蜒而出，一东一西穿城而过，拦坝形成青龙湖与苍龙湖，湖水最终汇入黄河，三水汇聚之地便是广场得名由来，这里也是三门峡极具代表性的山水人文地标。

Right next to Zhaogong Island we visited last time stands Sanhe Square. The three local rivers are the Yellow River, Canglongjian River and Qinglongjian River. Originating from southern moun‐tains, the two streams form twin lakes before flowing into the Yellow River.

沿林间水岸缓步闲逛，绿树环抱着湖面，白鹭立在浅滩休憩觅食，湿地的灵气尽数藏在这幅画面里。广场景致随黄河水势四季更迭：每年六七月汛期泄洪，黄河浊浪奔腾、气势雄浑；待到十月蓄水，连片水域化作温婉平湖，碧波荡漾、水鸟翩跹。作为紧邻黄河的滨水空间，这里是横渡母亲河、黄河大合唱等大型活动的举办地，国家级横渡黄河赛事便从广场亲水平台启程，一路横渡抵达对岸山西平陆。

Strolling along the tree-lined bank, you can spot white egrets wading by the water. Without grand ancient buildings, the wet‐land boasts two distinct seasonal views: turbulent floods in sum‐mer and serene lake waters dotted with wild birds in cooler months. It serves as the venue for major events including the an‐nual cross-Yellow River swimming competition starting for Pinglu across the rive.

顺着滨水步道向西，便走入苍龙涧沿岸。苍龙涧古称焦水，整条河谷是周代焦国的核心封地，古文明顺着河水生根生长，河畔立有焦水河道地图景观石与焦国纪念碑，一件件实物静静诉说先秦岁月。

Walking west along the waterfront path, you will find the carved river-map stone and Jiao State Monument. Formerly named Jiao Water, Canglongjian was the core fief of ancient State Jiao in Zhou Dynasty, with relics witnessing its long pre-Qin history.
