Writing Section

In the writing section, you will answer 12 questions to demonstrate how well you can write in English. There are three types of tasks.

Build a Sentence

Move the words in the boxes to create grammatical sentences.

A clock will show you how much time you have to complete this task.

Write an Email

You will read some information and use the information to write an email.

You will have 7 minutes to write the email.

You recently attended a university-sponsored career workshop and found the information on job hunting very helpful. However, there were some issues with the workshop organization. You want to follow up with the organizer, Ms. Williams, to express your appreciation for the event and provide feedback on the workshop organization.

Write an email to Ms. Williams. In your email, do the following:

• Explain what you found especially helpful about workshop.

• Describe the problems you found with the workshop organization.

• Suggest ways to avoid these issues in future events.

I think structured lecture-based instruction is more effective for building solid foundational knowledge that students need before attempting complex applications. Well-organized lectures allow teachers to present information systematically, ensure all students receive the same essential content, and cover curriculum requirements efficiently. Students can then apply this foundational knowledge through homework assignments and later practical exercises outside of class time.
