There is no doubt that the earth is getting warmer. According to the research by scientists, it is the activities of human beings that are causing glaobal warming.

      We can do many things to slow down the pace of global warming. Firstly, we can turn off lamps, computers and other electrical appliances when they are not being used. Secondly, it is better to use things made from recycled materials rather than new ones. Thirdly, more trees should be planted to absorb carbon dioxide. Fourthly, we should try to persude more people to do the same things to protect the environment.

       In conclusion, I do believe that our efforts will pay off.
