Dear Paul,
Last weekend witnessed my class’s visit to the science museum of our city, and I’d
love to share the experience with you.
The science museum boasts varieties of fancy exhibits! We explored robots that
could solve puzzles, watched a 3-D film about space exploration, and even tried virtual
reality games. The highlight was an engaging workshop where we built mini solar-
powered cars first ever!
This trip made me realize how fast technology is advancing. I felt inspired to learn
more about science and its role in shaping our future. Through the activity, I also came

one possible version:
Mr. Harris was waiting for me there, his eyes red. “Well done! But how did you
make it?” he asked in excitement. I told him about my practice on the broken piano in
the hospital and Mom’s illness. Mr. Harris’s mouth fell open and then apologized for
his previous words. He hugged me tightly, saying everything would be OK. Finally, I
was announced to receive a silver medal.
I rushed to the hospital and handed my silver medal to Mom. With trembling hands,
she held it, her eyes shining with joy and pride. After hearing the whole story, Mom
praised me for my efforts, but deep down in my heart, I knew it was her words that
helped me make the most courageous decision so far in my life. The medal still hangs
above my piano, a glittering-proof that real courage is not about perfect keys but playing
with whatever you have.
