【知识考点一】
One day, a farmer was working in the field.
①one day，指的是过去/将来不确定的某一天，可放句首，句尾;
②was working在这里是过去进行时：
概念：表示过去某一个时间或者某一段时间正在发生的动作/状态
结构：was/were + 现在分词（V-ing）
例：She was reading a book at 9:00 p.m. yesterday.
针对训练：翻译句子
1.那时我母亲正在厨房做饭。
My mother _____ _______ in the kitchen at that time.
答案：was cooking
【知识考点二】
and的用法
and是连词，表示并列关系，用来连接2个或以上的词、短语、句子。
①连接2个并列的主语，谓语动词用复数
例：Tom and I are students.
②连接2个并列的谓语，谓语动词时态要保持一致
例：He picked up the hare and took it home.
③连接2个并列的句子
They teach us English and we teach them Chinese.

动名词的用法(动词ing可分为动名词 和现在分词 两种，其中现在分词在小学阶段，主要应
用于现在进行时态/过去进行时态)
①动名词作主语，在动词的基础上加ing,使该动词具有名词的特征，可作名
词使用。
②动名词做主语时，谓语动词用单数
例：Picking up a hare is easy.
Climbing mountains is really fun.

stop的用法
①stop doing 停止正在做的事情
例：I must stop smoking.
She stopped talking when she saw me.
②stop to do 停下，然后去做另一件事。
例：They stopped to play football.

hard work 与 work hard
work hard努力工作（动词短语）
work是动词，hard在这里是副词。
hard work 繁重的工作（名词短语）
hard是形容词，work是名词
注意：work表示工作时，是不可数名词
【知识考点八】辨析another, other, others
1. other可作形容词或代词，做形容词时，意思是“别的，其他”，泛指“其
他的（人或物）”。用在复数名词前或不可数名词前
I like his music, but other artists are better.
我喜欢他的音乐，但其他音乐家的更胜一筹。
The child didn't eat oranges but liked other fruit.
这小孩不喜欢吃橘子，但却喜欢其他的水果。This car is OK but my other car is better.
这辆车很好，但我的另一辆车更好。
2. others是other的复数形式，泛指“另外几个”，“其余的”。其用法大致相
当于“other+复数名词”。
Give me some others, please.
请给我别的东西吧！
3. another通常只与单数名词连用，只能代替或修饰单数可数名词。
如：I don’t like this one. Please show me another.
我不喜欢这一个，请给我看看另一个。
