Unit 12 Life is full of the unexpected. Ask each group to find out all the sentences using the past perfect tense from 1a to 3c. First, ask students to write the past participle form for each word and phrase in the box of 4b. Then, ask them to fill in the blanks using the correct words or phrases. Make as many sentences as they can. ② Get the students to write two true sentences and one imaginary sentences. Ask some students to read out their sentences. Let others to guess which sentence is imaginary. Tell the reasons. Answers will vary. Step 3 Language points learning by the end of 在(某时间点)以前 by the end of 含有“不迟于”的意思。通常情况下,根据by the end of后接的时间的不同,主句选用相应的时态: (1) 接将来的时间,主句用一般将来时。 (2) 接现在的时间,句子用现在完成时。 (3) 接过去的时间,句子用过去完成时。 Step 4 Exercise,Summary&Homework Exercise Complete pages from 20 to 22 on the PPT.
