关于W中区演讲比赛情况的说明

在本年度举行的 W 中区演讲比赛中，最终名次口头宣布环节出现了信息错误。赛后，中区与大区干事团队高度重视此事，并第一时间组织中区比赛团队对相关事实情况进行了复核，包括正式计票结果及比赛流程记录。

为确保处理方式公平、规范，大区也主动向 Toastmasters International 总部寻求正式指导意见。经核实，正式评审与计票结果有效无误，并作为本次比赛的官方最终结果。

同时，我们也充分理解，此次宣布失误给涉及到的选手及会员们带来了困惑与失落。对此，我们深表歉意，并已与选手和部分会员进行了坦诚、尊重且建设性的沟通交流。

我们也感谢会员伙伴们对赛事质量所表达的关心与建议。这些声音体现了大家对比赛品质及会员体验的重视，也是推动我们持续进步的重要动力。

Clarification Statement Regarding the Division W Speech Contest

Following the Division W Speech Contest, an error occurred during the verbal announcement of the final placements. After the contest, the Division and District leadership teams took the matter seriously and immediately reviewed the relevant facts, including the certified tally results and the contest procedures involved.

To ensure fairness and proper handling, the District also sought official guidance from Toastmasters International. Based on the review, the certified judging and tally results remain the official contest outcome.

At the same time, we fully recognize that the announcement error caused confusion and disappointment for some contestants and members. We sincerely regret that experience and have communicated directly with the affected contestant in an open, respectful, and constructive manner.

We also appreciate the passion and care shown by members who voiced their concerns. Their feedback reflects the high standards our community holds for contest quality and member experience.

Moving forward, we will conduct a full review of this incident, strengthen contest official training, improve result-verification procedures, and continue working with the District to support higher-quality contests in the future.

Our shared goal remains clear: to create contests that are fair, professional, inspiring, and enjoyable for every contestant, volunteer, and member.
