We've been discussing the practice of corporate transparency, where businesses are completely transparent with their employees about their operations. Others argue that certain information should remain confidential to protect competitive advantages. Do you think corporate transparency is essential, or should some information be kept confidential? Why?
Kelly
I think corporate transparency is essential. It builds trust with consumers and stakeholders and demonstrates a company's commitment to ethical practices. Transparency can lead to greater accountability and long-term success, as customers appreciate honest and open communication.
Claire
In my opinion, certain information should be kept confidential to protect competitive advantages. While transparency is important, businesses need to safeguard proprietary information and strategic plans to stay competitive. Complete transparency could potentially harm a company's position in the market.
