Whenever visiting a museum, in addition to appreciating the wisdom in these historical books, Song Jing also

After finishing studies course at Peking University in 2015, she has been worked in restoring more than 100
ancient cultural relics. At the moment, Song is working on restoring a copy of Yongle Dadian, an encyclopedia

tough and complex process, the ancient books restoration technique of the national library was listed as a national-

cultural heritage preservation,” said Song.

“No problem.”
It’s been over three months since Linda moved to board at school. She missed her mom and dad so much that
she couldn’t even wait to pack and leave for home.
The class was over at 3 and all the after-class activities were cancelled. The minute the bell rang, all cheered and
disappeared from the classroom immediately. So did Linda. Within 20 minutes, she made it to the school gate and
waited there. Linda heard people hilariously talking about plans for the coming holiday. What’s awaiting her?
Linda waved them goodbye as her classmates left one by one. Crowds became scarce when Linda got anxious.
Her phone was dead and she forgot to charge it. Dad had never been late! She had to borrow a phone to make a call
before she was the only one left.

There was a fast food restaurant nearby, only 10 minutes’ walk. Yet, not until she walked a few yards did she realize

【答案】 Suddenly, a car pulled over in front of her. A smiling face signed her to get on. Although Linda felt
nervous, the smile on the driver’s face made her settled. After an explanation the driver offered to take her home since
they were on the same way. Using the driver’s phone to inform her father, they were on the way. While chatting,
Linda knew that the driver has two sons working overseas and he just lost his work. Although days were tough, the
driver didn’t give up but was still positive and thankful to life. When they arrived at Linda’s house, Linda invited the
driver to enter the house for a cup of tea and pay him to express her gratitude. But the driver declined and left.
On Thanksgiving Day, Linda decided to do something to show her gratitude to the driver again. Linda talked
all about the driver with her father and asked her father to let the driver work in his company. The father agreed.
Then Linda wrote the driver a letter, with a line reading: For Your Kindness.
